Drake went for his first puppy groom this week and loved it, he came out looking and smelling so fresh and fluffy! A few days later we had we had a puppy accident after stepping in tar on a walk, I messaged Melissa that evening and she fitted us in the next morning and helped drake with a wash, trim and careful attention to his paws. Can’t recommend Scruffy 2 Fluffy enough. Super professional set up, lovely staff and most importantly Teddy my cockapoo and Wes the spaniel have always come out looking amazing and happy every time. The team are amazing and always communicate during the groom to ensure I get everything that I want. The dogs also get some play time after their groom if there is time. Lovely set up, Melissa is very friendly and helpful and Maisie loved her! When I picked Maisie up she was a gorgeous ball of fluff after having a puppies first groom ( with extra wash and dry for very reasonable cost) . What do you love most about your job?
I am extremely passionate about animal welfare. I pride myself on the high-standard of care & services. I offer top quality, one to one dog grooming in a relaxed environment. My aim is to make dogs as comfortable as possible & to prioritise their needs above all else, ensuring dogs have a positive experience in the salon.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always loved dogs from an early age & I have a Jackapoo called Jasper and a Miniature Schnauzer called Smokey. Having worked at the RUH Bath Hospital for 8 years and caring for patients which I have loved doing, I decided to take the plunge & have a change of career. I have wanted to open a dog grooming salon and doggy day care for number of years but due to covid this was paused until after restrictions were lifted.
Why should our clients choose you?
Dogs are not kept in cages while they are waiting for the owners to arrive, we have specially designed pens so they are made to feel happy. Weather dependant, they will have access to the enclosed artificial grass area outside.
All the products we use are free of parabens, sulphates, bleach, soap. Each treatment is individually catered for your dog's breed, skin type, coat & age to ensure we provide the best service for you and your dog.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Salon is deep cleaned daily, equipment cleaned after each dog, hand sanitizer is located at enterance.
