What do you love most about your job?

Seeing the owners face on collection, at how pleased they are of the groom, and how the dog's still so happy with their tail wagging and smelling fresh!I also thoroughly enjoy pampering dogs, using my creativity, and the self-accomplishment of the before and after photos. I work extremely hard at creating a close trusting bond with each dog that comes in, and creating and sustaining a relaxed, calm environment.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I've been grooming since I was 11 years old, just through pure passion of loving dogs and enjoying working around them. I've always wanted to run my own business, and I've also always wanted to create a luxury yet relaxed salon environment and grooming sessions which I feel set us apart from other competitors.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am highly experienced in mostly all breeds and temperaments, i love my job, and thrive off ensuring that you and your dog are happy prior, during and after the groom. I am professional, trusting, relaxed and experienced in grooming many different styles to whichever suits you, your dog and the maintenance/lifestyle required.

How often your dog needs to be groomed will depend on the breed of dog and the length of its hair. On average, a dog should be groomed around once a month. However, dogs with longer coats will need grooming more regularly whilst dogs with shorter coats may not need grooming as often. It’s important to groom a young dog or puppy regularly so that they become used to being groomed and to avoid future problems.

Although many pet groomers have a set location that they operate from, there are also many mobile pet groomers. These groomers operate from a van which is equipped with all of the equipment required for grooming. They will park outside your home and groom your pet within the van.

How long it takes to groom a dog will depend on the breed of the dog and the length of its hair. On average, it takes around 2 hours to fully groom a dog. However, for dogs with long, thick hair, it could take significantly longer, whilst for dogs with short hair it may be faster.
