I am a very caring dog groomer who has only the best interests in your animal. I only groom 1 or 2 dogs a day as I feel this is in the best interest of the dog. My sevices are:- Washing, drying, brushing, cutting, nails, ear cleaning. Also have a service wash, dry and brush Puppy Grooms - I recommend introducing your puppy to grooming at 10-12 weeks old, after their second set of vaccinations.
At Pawgeous, it’s not just about the grooming or walking services we offer – We love the interaction and cuddles with your dog. As a dog mad family, ours (two German Shepherds and a Border Collie cross) are spoilt rotten and that’s how we feel every dog should be. It is more than work for us – it really is love and passion!

I have been fortunate to have found Bella Pet Spa and she is now grooming my third dog. She has done an excellent job, so much so that she will now look after all my dogs. She is patient and they have been all treated well. You are able to stay with your pets and see them being groomed. They are transformed before your eyes. I highly recommend her.

Well what can I say that the heading of this review hasn't already said . AJ's has the perfect inviroment to set an body let alone any dog totally at ease. And it has in its owner and groomer a speical talent who has a speical way with the dogs that pass through her salon I know I will be returning , very very happy I don't normally recommend anything but in this case it's a no brainer.

My 4 month old mini schnauzer came home looking even more handsome than when he arrived at Denton's Dapper Dog Grooming Salon! This was his first full groom and Sharon took lots of time to listen to how I would like him to be groomed. She then spoke through how she would approach the groom as to not rush my little pup - a combination of groom and play.
We'll definitely be back :-)

We contacted Michelle after our previous dog groomer moved on. She got back to us very quickly and kept us posted prior to the visit. The service was absolutely brilliant. We have a nervous border collie, but Michelle put him at his ease and took a lot of trouble to ensure that his fur was pristine. Friendly and efficient service, would highly recommend.

In reply to Sania Hussain. I am Stacy Ismael owner of Paw-fect. I was extremely surprised to receive your review. In more than five years of trading, I have never received a negative review such as yours. Firstly I would add that in no circumstances is it possible to fully groom a dog without bathing it. Secondly, our pricing scale does not have a price of £35! I cannot trace you as a current customer on our database and so would appreciate if you would make contact with me directly to discuss this matter further.
In reply to Dee Vije regarding the groom of your German Shepherd. When you dog arrived at our shop, its coat was extremely impacted with dead coat and it was explained to you that the groom would take longer than anticipated to bath, dry, trim and rake its coat out. The groom took two groomers, 3 hours, to complete. Regarding trimming up the coat, the standard groom for a German Shepherd is to only trim its feathers in a minimal fashion to leave a natural finish. This was done. Regarding the nail clip, it was not necessary. If we had cut the nails, the quick would have bled and caused your dog unnecessary pain. In our opinion, £60 was not an excessive amount to charge for a German Shepherd who had not been groomed for some time, and was extremely impacted with dead coat.
How often does my dog need to be groomed?
How often your dog needs to be groomed will depend on the breed of dog and the length of its hair. On average, a dog should be groomed around once a month. However, dogs with longer coats will need grooming more regularly whilst dogs with shorter coats may not need grooming as often. It’s important to groom a young dog or puppy regularly so that they become used to being groomed and to avoid future problems.
Are Pet Groomers mobile?
Although many pet groomers have a set location that they operate from, there are also many mobile pet groomers. These groomers operate from a van which is equipped with all of the equipment required for grooming. They will park outside your home and groom your pet within the van.
How long does it take to groom a dog?
How long it takes to groom a dog will depend on the breed of the dog and the length of its hair. On average, it takes around 2 hours to fully groom a dog. However, for dogs with long, thick hair, it could take significantly longer, whilst for dogs with short hair it may be faster.
