How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

Having been a professional sportsman myself, I understand that we are all motivated differently. For some people just the act of training is all that is required to push on. For others it needs someone to provide a helping hand to keep them on track to achieving their goals. The other thing I’ve come to realise is that it is more than just the body that needs exercise; it’s also the mind. Customers often don’t have clear objectives, just an inkling that they need to do more/some exercise. I provide customers with the physical and emotional drivers that help them identify these goals and then achieve them. I don’t stop there though. Once one set of goals has been achieved, it’s about deciding what to do next so that all of the hard work isn’t lost. I create custom development and nutritional programmes for customers tailored to their individual needs. We can even help with life coaching so that customers can carry their fitness into their whole life development.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Actually, there is no secret! Hard work, good nutrition, mind working in tandem with the body, and enjoyment. The real secret is identifying what drives everyone as an individual to recognise those things. But I need to be honest with everyone, without the hard work none of it will be achievable, and without the enjoyment the hard word is doubly hard!

What do you love most about your job?

I really get a buzz from seeing customer realise their personal successes. In the past I have helped brides get into that special dress, and honeymooners get ready for that beach holiday. They have brought me as much enjoyment as seeing friends in competition weightlifting lift that extra weight and achieve that next medal.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I saw too many friends with gym memberships simply paying up month after month, turning up for an hour but never changing their size or shape. I thought I can do this better, so I decided to start my own business. Its not been easy, and without the support of others I could not have achieved what I have. I’m not driven by money, but by the difference I see in customers when they reach one goal then set another.

I could simply say that I’m better than anyone else, or that I’ll guarantee you will achieve your goals, but that doesn’t help you choose. Whether I believe it or not, everyone else will tell you the same. What I do promise is dedication to each and every single client, irrespective of their starting point. I don’t care what drives you to start looking for help. I do care about you achieving your goals and I will be your partner on the journey to achieve those goals.
