How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

Each client has a free consultation at the studio, where they can view the premises. We then sit down and have an informal chat about fitness goals, nutrition advice and general well being. A weigh in with measurements in undertaken if the client wishes to continue with the services. A plan is then put in place to ensure that the goals are met with the best possible success.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Definitely strength training, metabolic conditioning, flexibility, balance, mobility and recovery. A flexible diet with sensible macros that will lead to intuitive eating so there is a healthy balance between work and life that is sustainable.

What do you love most about your job?

I love to listen to each of my client's individual needs and help them reach their goals. I feel so much pride when they have lost their first stone, fit into that dress, won their first race or started some life changing goals. This is the reason that I do what I do, I love to impart my knowledge and help people reach their goals, no matte what they are.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I was working in a corporate job 9-5 for many years and I longed for the flexibility to open my own business. I wanted to get into the fitness industry and when life afforded that opportunity, I worked in a large commercial gym for a few years. I learned so much about how a gym is run and how to interact with customers. I soon learned that there was a huge market for a private one to one facility that would make each client feel special, where their self confidence can bloom. When a client walks into my studio, they are usually 99.9% sure they want to train there. The private environment brings out the best work in my clients.

I am a level 3 certified personal trainer, certified exercise specialist and hold 2 nutrition qualifications and a level 3 sports massage qualification. I listen to each and every one of my client's individual needs, goals, injuries and put together the best programme that I can for them. All programmes are customised to their individual needs. I also heavily supervise each of my client's nutrition with a weekly check in to make sure they are reaching their targets the best they can.
