We recently had a substantial amount of work carried out by this builder and couldn't be happier with the result. The project involved stripping out our old kitchen, opening up a doorway, installing an RSJ, converting a window into doors, fitting a new ceiling with a skylight, replastering and rendering, raising the floor level, and installing a new window. From the outset, everything was straightforward and transparent. We paid a deposit around six months before the work started, with the remaining balance paid in stages as the project progressed. The pricing was fair, there were no surprises, and any additional work we requested along the way was accommodated without any fuss. They were honest, reliable, hardworking and very easy to deal with throughout. Communication was always clear, they turned up when they said they would, completed the work on time, and the quality of the finished job is excellent. If you're looking for a builder who's trustworthy, reasonably priced and genuinely straightforward to work with, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We'd happily use them again for future projects.

A few years ago, we’d had a floorboard break, and when I had a carpenter in to replace it, we noticed that the floorboard was full of woodworm holes. I requested that someone from Home Energy Serve come in and have a look to see if we had a fresh problem with woodworm or whether it was old. Anyway, a gentleman called Steve came out and checked for us. He reassured us that there was nothing to worry about and did not charge for the visit. It’s nice that he was honest with us and I wouldn’t hesitate to choose the company again.
