Look for installers with experience in outdoor landscaping and water systems. Ask about previous projects, electrical safety, warranties and ongoing maintenance requirements. Clear pricing and practical advice are key to a successful installation.
Based on Bark data, water feature installation typically costs between £500 and £3,000, depending on the type, size and complexity of the feature.
Small, self-contained water features usually start from £500 to £1,000, while larger or custom-built features can cost £2,000 or more, especially where groundwork, electrics or bespoke designs are involved.
The final price depends on materials, site preparation and whether electrical or plumbing work is required.
Most water features need a power supply for pumps and lighting. Installers will advise on safe electrical connections and placement.
Maintenance varies by design. Simple features need minimal upkeep, while ponds or larger features may require regular cleaning and checks.

My passion is for hydroponics but equally I love the outdoors and the range of species of plants available to us and I love spending hours in my garden and grow room. I start my plants off in my grow room and then transplant them into my garden. I like to have a beautiful blooming garden all year round and by using hydroponics to assist in my every day gardening helps me to achieve a wonderful, healthy garden.
I also love to be able to grow anything at any time of year no matter the season, even different fruits for my ever growing children at a fraction of the cost to regularly buying them from the supermarket.
Don't have a garden? Unable to get out of the house into your garden? Want to grow your own fruit and veg all year round? Anybody anywhere can grow using hydroponics and can enjoy this method of gardening. I love hydroponics for this very reason too.
I first started using hydroponics over 22 years ago when I received a request from a local caravan site who wanted blooming colourful flowers all year round on their site. With hydroponics I could offer them this and they had a bright blooming site year after year. From there my ideas for my business grew and after many years of having ideas I finally found the confidence to open up my own business.

Sam instantly understood our vision for our garden and created a beautiful space filled with plants of all colours and scents and laid a lovely new lawn. His knowledge of soil and light meant that we could choose the right plants to work in our garden. We are really enjoying our new garden, as are the birds, bees and butterflies!

We are super happy with the work that Perry & his team completed which included re turfing of the lawn, building raised flower beds, arranging lighting and providing flowers. From the quotation to the job being completed Perry was on hand to explain & ensure the work was done to a high standard - no job was too small and would highly recommend the team !

Cavendish & Charlie are a great team. Cavendish listened to my wishes and designed an excellent plan for my small dark garden. My garden is transformed, looks much bigger and is now an inviting space for me to sit in with family & friends. Excellent workmanship. I would highly recommend.
