I begun my training at 16, studying at a full time performing arts college in New Barnet for 2 years. I then chose to further my training on the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre degree at Italia Conti. I have over 5 years training and experience with multiple genres of singing, dance and acting. Currently I am teaching at Stagecoach, and numerous other dance schools around Hertfordshire and London, covering various genres and choreographing for current musical projects.

A month ago I finally decided to bite the bullet and take up singing lessons. I've always loved to sing and I am currently in a band so I thought it would be a good investment both on a personal level and as a musician. I found Gemma after searching online for teachers, the reviews I had read made choosing her an easy decision. I remember walking to my first lesson and the nerves were quite bad, however within a minute of meeting Gemma I felt completely at ease. I cannot emphasise enough what a lovely person she is and most importantly what a fantastic teacher she is.In my first three lessons I have already learnt so much, she has a fantastic understanding of how the voice works, exercises are challenging but fun and she explains things in a way that makes correcting your mistakes easy. I never feel embarrassed to ask questions either.Even though it is still early days I have noticed an improvement in my range, my breathing is improving and above all else I feel that my confidence in my own voice is improving.I cannot recommend her enough and I'm really looking forward to the lessons ahead!
