Tom
A friendly and knowledgeable singing teacher.
Rachel's friendly manner quickly helped to make my shy daughter comfortable, providing easy to digest and actionable criticism that a nine year old can understand.
Our lessons are always online but this doesn't stop Rachel from providing a quality lesson. There is always a noticeable improvement by the end of the lesson that my daughter can be proud of and show off to family.
Rachel offers a complete lesson including music theory giving my daughter a wider understanding of music as a whole.
I would recommend Rachel to anyone looking for professional and approachable singing teacher.

Her lessons are fun as well as informative and her feedback was incredibly beneficial.
I left feeling confident with a set of clear targets that enabled me to improve between lessons.

My son has been having lessons with Kathryn for about 10 months now. He's come on in leaps and bounds and responds well to her good advice and tips on vocal warm-ups. It's helped him as his voice changes as he gets older, and with his breathing when performing on stage. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kathryn to others.

Vocal sessions with Emmanuel were not only productive but educational. I learnt skills and techniques that have improved my vocal skills and most importantly my passion for singing has returned after 7+ years of being on hiatus!
Each session was well planned and professional, I left each session with a spring in my step, Emmanuel believed in my vocal ability and stretched on each session which I am thankful for today. I am now more confident when singing and I look forward to booking future sessions with Emmanuel.
I’m a Master’s classical singing student at Trinity College of Music. Whether you want to try singing as a serious pursuit, wanted to sing for fun or just wondered what it would be like to have lessons, I’m very enthusiastic to pass on what I've learned from my Conservatoire teaching to anyone who will listen.
I am a classically trained soprano in my final year of study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, where I was accepted as a Trinity College London Scholar in 2018. Prior to this I studied singing and piano at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester. I hold a vocal performance diploma making me an Associate of Trinity College London and have been teaching part time for almost four years. Recently I spent six months abroad, firstly studying in Italy learning the Bel Canto method and secondly in Switzerland performing operatically with Berlin Opera Academy. I offer singing & theory lessons online or around Greenwich SE LONDON for children, beginners and music lovers of all ages. Whether you want to sing for fun, be coached through the ABRSM graded singing exams, or brush up your understanding of music through theory lessons, don't hesitate to get in touch. I currently study with Sophie Grimmer, a highly respected and accomplished vocal teacher based in London who has performed at venues across Europe and London such as ENO. Therefore everything I teach my own students is informed by the world class tuition I am lucky enough to receive, (but of course adjusted so that it is age appropriate). This ensures that the tuition I give is always current and reflects the ever evolving industry standards for vocal tuition.
Through properly developing the voice we have the ability to liberate our means for personal expression, story telling and communicating. It gives us the opportunity to explore our authentic self and celebrate our differences, since there can be no voice quite like yours. Such skills are often overlooked, but teach us plenty about the essence of being human.
My favourite saying is: I don't sing because I am happy, I am happy because I sing.
My own vocal training started when I began lessons at the age of nine and as I grew older I recognised the significant and invaluable impact this had on me as a child and why I feel strongly that children deserve to learn music. Through music lessons children can build discipline, sensitivity and confidence and this is something I feel passionately about facilitating for every student.
I have been providing singing lessons online throughout the entirety of the pandemic and have discovered that it serves as a highly effective way for teaching singing and theory. All that is needed is a Skype or Zoom account, and I will provide learning materials via email.
