What do you love most about your job?

I love drums! The online lessons are achieving great results.
I love teaching, when a student masters a piece that did not seem easy to them, or passes an exam it gives me a real buzz that I am doing something worthwhile.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have years of experience drumming.
Before Covid I still gigged 2 to 3 times a week in a rock /pop band and look forward to getting back to normal. (See http://www.the3.co.uk)
Students can benefit from my years of experience.
I have amazing testimonials from past and current students.
Lessons are tailored individually to suit the students requirements and abilities.
I make it fun to learn.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have been drumming since the age of 7.
I have played in in venues all over the U.K.
Toured in Malta, Dubai, Turkey, Denmark, Holland, Germany, Spain, The Shetlands, Australia.
Jammed on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.
I have taught lots of people to drum over the years and decided that I should develop a system that would give students an well rounded ability, and pass on my knowledge and experience.
Most of all to do something that I love.

My son started having classical guitar and piano lessons with AB Music Academy in Acton one and a half years ago. He is doing grades since when he was 7 years old, but when he started with the Academy he was lacking of technique for both instruments. His improvement is huge from when he started and he's now doing grade 7 for guitar and grade 6 for piano having passed his grade 5 with distinction. The teachers at the academy are very professional, engaging straight away with the students. Skills for life is what the Academy guarantees the students will get from them.

My son is taking classical guitar and piano grades within the academy and he was already in grade 6 for guitar and grade 4 for piano when he started an year and a half ago, but his technique for both instruments was not good enough. He has improved a lot ever since and he's now doing grade 7 guitar and grade 6 piano (he passed his grade 5 with distinction). The teachers are very professional and really engaged with their students, so they feel confident and excited with what they're learning: skills for life it's what students get with AB Academy in Acton.

I am an adult beginner on the piano. River Music School has been very organised and my teacher has been very good. I really feel like I am progressing. I recommend them!
