I have over 12 years of performance experience as a solo performer, as well as in choirs and bands. I have over 10 years experience of performing a mixture of musical styles; classical, pop, rock, jazz, hymnal, musical theatre, acappella. My main instruments are voice and piano, which I am classically trained in and completed the Associated Board of Royal School of Music examinations.

Anna was prompt to respond to my 'bark' posted for piano lessons the previous night , also understanding and encouraging working with myself as to what suited my requirements the best - which was heartening . Had it not been for the physical distance between us , I would have at least enlisted for her initial online piano lessons for trials to see how it goes for myself ( am not an efficient learner ..sigh).

My daughter's teacher is Alison Chiang. She is a great teacher who is patient and very knowledgeable about teaching and playing the piano. She is not so strict as some other teachers, but firm enough to make my daughter practice. She sends homework after each class to remind her what to do. My daughter has learned piano for 4 years before she started learning with Alison. Her previous teacher was very strict and degraded my daughter's motivation to play piano. She told me she hated piano and wanted to quit. However, after she started learning piano with Alison, she gained more motivation and enjoyed playing piano more.
