I am a classically trained Opera/Music Theatre performer, having worked in all fields of the entertainment industry, opera and musicals at home and abroad, film and television, pantomime and music hall. I have been teaching for many years now, and (touch wood!) have not yet lost a voice. I am a professor of singing at TrinityLaban Conservatoire on the Musical Theatre BA Degree course, and many of my past students have carved out successful careers in both opera and music theatre, and they still come and see me for a check up.

Hi there! James here. I'm a passionate, personable and creative music teacher with a PGCE in Secondary Music from the Institute of Education at UCL, and a Music Degree with 1st Class Honours from the University of Manchester. I play trombone, guitar, piano and I sing, and I write music for picture (using Logic Pro X) too. I grew up with parents both working as music teachers and choral conductors, and all five of us children played at least two instruments, so I've experienced the full range of what it means to learn music.

Hello, my name is Sonia and I am a voice coach working with singers, performers and public speakers. I love what I do. For me learning how voice works is an amazing journey of self-discovery but also learning a skill that engages our body, mind and emotions. I can confidently teach students interested in pop, rock, jazz, reggae or classical music. I love the process, the discovery and creativity involved in it.

I was taught by James Lugo (Vocal Coach on American Idol, Glee, etc.) and have a BMus (Honours) Music Performance and Production from LCCM, Middlesex University. I have a passion to teach and help my students achieve their goals and make sure they apply the right foundations to their instrument.

I am currently studying music at university and specialise in classical singing and opera. I also have experience singing jazz, pop and musical theatre.
