Hello, my name is Lauren and I am offering technical singing and acting 1 to 1 classes. I have taught group singing and acting classes for over a year now to ages ranging from 4 to 18 and just recently started using my experience and skills to focus on 1 to 1 classes. I studied acting at PPA drama school and have completed all grades up to diploma in Musical Theatre singing, including grade 8 pop vocals.
My objective is to provide quality coaching in acting & drama to young people and aspiring artists. My methodologies revolve around positive reinforcement, avoiding put downs, and encouraging self-belief as a tool for young people to strive in being themselves. My methods are a unique blend of play and professional practice, as there is much to be learned from the childlike curiosity of discovering a new skill and using this element of fun to improve confidence, speaking and listening, as well as a general sense of character and self-exploration.
