Are you ready to unlock your vocal potential and take your singing to new heights? Raya Vocals is here to support you on your musical journey. Through personalised singing lessons, I provide a nurturing environment where you can explore and enhance your vocal capabilities. The focus is on refining your technique, expanding your vocal range, and expressing yourself authentically through your voice.
I love teaching! I especially love teaching adult beginners and people with damaged voices, but I have experience with beginning to advanced singers. I train people to use their voices more efficiently, in a healthy and sustainable way. I, myself, am a singer of Classical, Baroque and mediaeval concert music, but I have experience teaching other styles and the vocal training lends itself to the easy expression of all styles of music.

I've been learning with Diane for several years . The lesson starts my week. I learn for pure pleasure and mental wellbeing. Diane is very patient, methodical and empowering. I sing a variety of music from modern day pop, musical numbers to 16th/17th century pieces. Always good to try new things.
It's mostly great fun with the occasional hiccup, :) but the journey is worth it and I look forward to more to come.
I would highly recommend Diane to anyone, whatever age or level. She knows her stuff!

One to one lessons remotely using Zoom. We specialise in teaching one to one singing lessons, acting lessons, Lamda examinations and Audition technique. We have several students in west end musicals, with many performing in local amateur groups for fun too. The exams we have 100% pass success rate. And we also have a 100% success rate with drama school entrants with every student being offered at least one place they have auditioned for.
My approach to teaching is fundamentally student-focussed. The most important thing to me is that you are comfortable and working towards whatever goals you have in mind, no matter how big or small. Singing and performance should be a joyful experience, so I like to make sure you are working on music you feel passionate about and are interested in. We will work on developing a personalised plan for your own individual voice.
Learning music is also about the ongoing relationship we have with ourselves, at any age. I always found learning piano to be of great therapeutic value as well as bringing joy. Whatever your background or experience, I offer a safe space for you of your loved ones to engage in music and have a lot of fun doing so.
