I started training with Dan in March 2016, when I could barely run a mile, yet he’s somehow turned me into a runner. In the time he’s been training me, he’s helped me to achieve running goals I never thought I could meet, and he’s done so with unfailing enthusiasm, encouragement and positivity. My running form, technique, fitness levels and confidence have massively improved, and I’ve remained injury-free through all the time I’ve been training with him. Not only is Dan incredibly knowledgeable about running, he’s also a genuinely lovely guy and a pleasure to work with. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Thanks to Claire at TLG I have managed to feel confident about myself for the first time in years. I see her a couple of times a week since trying other ways to lose weight and getting nowhere. I always tried to eat right but advice seems to keep changing and what is healthy one minute is bad for us the next. So even though I tried to eat well I struggled to keep a healthy weight. But I have been taught how the body works and can now eat in a way that keeps me feeling and looking good. The service is really convenient. Just when I think I don’t have the motivation to exercise, Claire turns up and before I have time to protest, she has been and gone and I’ve done my workout. I would recommend Claire happily to anyone who wants to look after themselves and needs some support and motivation.
My passion for fitness began in 2000 when I joined the British Army at the age of 18. Having selected Infantry as my chosen route I had no option other than to push myself beyond my level of fitness at that time. In 2007 whilst deployed on operations I was severely injured and I was restricted from doing any form of intense fitness for a good 9-12 months.
