By listening to them. I then help them drill down into what’s driving those goals and help them work on all aspects of their health and well-being to get there. So we turn e.g ‘weight loss’ into taking a 360 look at their lifestyle (pelvic health to sleep health and everything in between!), to what’s realistic for them, and what’s right for their body and their life stage without a macro or calorie counter to be seen! We make mini goals to hit bigger ones over time.

If the goal is pelvic health related or returning to exercise after babies then we take a similar approach - we go from the ‘inside out’ with support, encouragement and respect for what their body has been through.

It really is about learning to love and appreciate the wonderful one you have!!

Spending time with lovely clients and seeing the love and respect for their wonderful body grow. We spend so long being so horribly self critical, but seeing that change and those little wins ticked is very rewarding.

Never a gym-bunny, I came to exercise late, but through a great PT of my own came to value how movement made me feel. I knew I could impart that to other ‘exercise-phobes’ so made the move from Corporate PR to qualified Personal Trainer.

Since then I have been on my own journey. I’ve birthed two babies, managed my own pelvic health recovery and return to exercise, and I’m now entering perimenopause. So, I get it. I get you.

I want to help you to feel great about yourself, with a body that performs and looks how you want it to when you need it to.

Personal training kicks off with a detailed pre-screening form. This is followed by an informal consultation (via Zoom or face to face) to chat through the form and set some goals. To put the ‘personal’ in personal training it’s important I understand everything from your exercise history to your pelvic health to help me develop a safe, effective, results-driven programme that’s right for YOU.

Exercise is just one part of the equation in achieving your goals, so we’ll look at your wider lifestyle including diet, stress levels and sleep patterns to ensure we’re addressing the ‘whole picture’ and can deliver the results you are looking for.

Need some homework to keep you motivated? We can do that. Meal inspiration? That too. Accountability check ins? Yes. Or none of that! Whatever you need, we develop a programme that’s tailored to you.
I am available for 1:1 sessions on Tues, Weds and Thurs during school hours.

Surgery is a stressful time in your own and you family’s life. And aside from anxiety around the surgery itself, it can create fear around what the future looks like for you when it comes to exercise. Without the right support and education, it can leave you wondering if you’ll ever exercise in the way you loved to again. That’s why we created the Recovery Programme. To get women back to moving how they want to, doing what they used to (and more!) and living a full and active life, post gynae surgery, and particularly Pelvic Organ Prolapse or Hysterectomy procedures.
But Recovery isn’t simply a fitness programme; it provides a strong foundation for your future health, either pre or post gynae surgery, or both.
