What do you love most about your job?

The reason I do what I do is to see people's ideas come to life. So often people want to make a video or put something together in a particular way but do not have the skills or knowledge to do so. I love the feeling when a client says to me that it's just what they wanted or that it's even better than they could have hoped for.

What inspired you to start your own business?

By having my own business, it gives me and the client a security and safety net of legal procedures so that the client feels safe and secure in working with me, knowing that I am who I say I am and that I am being transparent in everything I do.

Why should our clients choose you?

I look to make the video editing process as easy as possible for you (the client). Video editing is no simple thing and that is why I look to take that complication, stress, and worry off of your hands and deliver to you drafts of videos, and then the final version, in a way that is simple and easy to work with.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Due to lockdown, almost all of my recent clients have been done remotely. In the beginning, I talk to you about how we are going to work and how it will be as easy for you (the client) to get footage to me and how I can send over drafts.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Unless requested by the client, I do not require any face-to-face contact that could risk the spread of Covid-19. I can work from the very beginning to the very end 100% remotely.

I had struggled for years to find a film production company which delivered the results i wanted. I found Picta Productions and gave them a go. Hands down the best results i have had in my 10 years of events. Liam and Patrick were friendly, professional and when we had torrential rain they kept going and managed to make rainy shots look amazing. They were there but not in the way and captured all scenes and shots requested and more. They have an excellent understanding a vision of the end product. I will be working with them again for future events. Would highly recommend.

Had a video consultation with one8media. Amara was very patient with me and he was putting my best interest first for the project I had in mind. I appreciate his efforts to cater to my needs greatly.

We hired Nigel for our school prom event and the experience with Nigel went beyond photography. Nigel’s incredible work ethic and skill really enhanced the atmosphere. He was truly more than a photographer, he came to the event with such a positive and lively attitude and also kept in touch with us prior to the event which helped with organisation and helped to translate the lively atmosphere of our event into photography. His work truly speaks for the incredible photographer he is. Thank you very much Nigel for the wonderful photos and videos as well as your incredible attitude.
