A small marquee of 6m x 6m may take around 2 hours to erect whilst a large marquee of 6m x 18 may take up to 6 hours to construct. You do not typically need planning permission to erect a marquee in your garden. The exception to this would be if the marquee was going to be in place for longer than 28 days.
