Brandler London is a bespoke cabinet maker and joinery workshop that specialises in fabricating furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, cupboards, panels, doors and other joinery products from reclaimed barn wood. In addition we offer other biophilic material finishes such as natural barks, charred wood (Shou Sugi Ban), pressed meadow grasses with flowers, pressed seed pods, moss, etc. We design to ecological, environmental and sustainable standards and this is reflected in the beauty of our end products. We also work with steel and concrete, which is used to enhance the aesthetics of the items that we fabricate. Brandler London also provides standard joinery and cabinet making using veneers, solid woods, laminates, MDF, Plywood, spray paint finishes, etc. We are passionate about out work and pay a great deal of attention to our Clients and their requirements ensuring that they are very happy with the end result.
Chris Brandler and his team are passionate about the work that they do in creating beautiful pieces of furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, panels & doors and all other forms of joinery, from reclaimed materials and in particular barn wood. The satisfaction is intense, especially when you have a very happy Client at the end of the day!
Recalling his own childhood, Chris Brandler decided to build his young son a den.
Chris did not like the standard materials available to him as he did not feel that they were in keeping with the aesthetics of his garden. He is also very passionate about ecology and wanted a sustainable and biophilic option.
A chance discussion with his builder led to the opportunity of buying the wood from a barn in Poland that was due to be demolished. On an impulse Chris flew to Poland and persuaded the farmer to allow him to dismantle the barn and ship the wood back to the UK.
On the back of this an obsession and passion was born to use these reclaimed materials to fabricate furniture and joinery and the result was the founding of Brandler London.
Our Clients choose us because we are fairly unique in the type of work that we do working with reclaimed barn wood. What makes different is that we select the barn that we like in Europe, negotiate with the owner followed by carefully dismantling and shipping to the UK.
Our product has a beautiful texture and makes a statement tht is very difficult to imitate.
