Rachel Urbach Carpentry
Rachel is a fitted furniture specialist with 30 years experience. I enjoy designing furniture that fits your house and taste, and meets your storage needs. I can work to contemporary or traditional styles. I have a small friendly team and am happy to provide free no obligation quotationsI have a 30 years of experience in this trade, and specifically with fitted furniture. Alcove units, fitted wardrobes, shelving whether its awkward spaces or library bookcases, under stair storage, fitted desks and mezzanine beds are all things I have done many times.
I have known Rachel for many years now and have seen the quality of her work on many occasions. She is reliable and skilled and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for all carpentry work. My only regret is that I now live so far away in Pembrokeshire that I can't make use of her expertise for the jobs I need doing. It's hard to find someone who does what they say they will, when they will and leaves you feeling glad you hired them. Rachel is that person.

B & F were great to work with on the build of our shop. Great communication and a very helpful approach to the project that made for a very pleasing outcome. The fittings in our shop get a lot of comments and appreciation from our customers. Its is much admired. A real pleasure to work with, I highly recommend them for design and build projects.
Credence Joinery offers carpentry, joinery and light general building work, covering all of Sussex.
We have worked with Sarah and Ed from Pataross Projects on a number of residential refurbishments and have also provided ‘end of project’ cleans. We really enjoy working alongside their team and relish the challenge of working with some of the interesting and unusual products they specify as part of their high end residential refurbishments. Over the three years that we have worked together we have recommended them to our clients who are looking for Interior Design and Project Management services and we look forward to many more years of working together.
Although this is a little further outside of the city centre, it is definitely worth a mention for having some of the most innovative contemporary furniture designs I think I've ever seen. I came to the workshop with a friend who was looking for something unique (and has money to burn). They've got an impressive list of commissions from Marks and Spencers to theatre halls but it's their domestic designs that really impress. Stunning, sleek and imposing designs in gorgeous woods like ash, walnut and oak can't be ignored, a lot of love has been put into very high finishes. They'll even customise garden houses and make boats out of sofas. Intrigued? Go and see for yourself.
