I came to James back in October 2023 as I was in such a bad place, physically, socially & mentally. I felt angry all the time, and that would lead to being upset and frustrated, I was constantly worried and overthinking and I couldn’t budge from this and I never ever thought I was going to get better or be happy. This was taking its toll at work, at home, in my relationship and with family and friends.
James was so lovely throughout all my sessions. He went at a nice pace for me, and we spoke about what I wanted to on each session. Some sessions were just a good rant, and it felt so nice getting all of this off my chest and having someone to listen to me, even having an input from a different perspective. I tried Hypnotherapy for the first time, and I loved it. We did a few different things in our sessions from Hypnotherapy to role play, different techniques and scenarios for things, and it was really refreshing using different techniques to help with my anger and being upset etc. it really made me understand how and why I was feeling like this and how I could overcome this.
I felt so at ease with James, how he presented himself, how he spoke, I just felt so relaxed with him on our sessions. I had a few sessions where I felt angry or upset and coming off the session at the end, it was a huge amount of pressure off my shoulders.
I couldn’t fault anything.
I had 12 sessions in total, and starting from being angry and in quite a bad place, to I now feel happier in general. I have no anger towards anything or anyone, I feel proud of myself of what Iv accomplished so far, and still wanting to learn and improve. I have the skills to work with my feelings now so if I have a bad day, I know how to deal with things better.
I never thought I’d need something like this, and it was the best thing I ever did and I’m so so proud I did it!
James, I can’t say in words and thank you enough for all the help and support you’ve given. Thank you so much, appreciated all the time taken during this! 💙

I’ve tried a few therapists over the years and cannot recommend Holly highly enough. She is human, empathetic, insightful and there have been tears and laughter aplenty. I’m not sure she realises quite how special and talented she is; the last year has been transformative and I’m enjoying the journey of growth with Holly very much.

James Coates
I completed a x12 week program with James and the experience has been transformative.
James creates a safe and supportive space that allowed me to explore some of the most important and meaningful insights I've made. He strikes a great balance between accountability and empathy; listening deeply whilst also challenging me to think differently.
The approach James uses allowed me to take action on insights, as opposed to just realising them. I've felt lighter, stronger, more resilient and approach life with a more fulfilling and positive mindset.
I'd highly recommend James to anyone seeking a trustworthy guide to help navigate lifes challenges.

Hi, I’m Siamak Diba and I’m a Therapist and Coach. I offer face to face online and in person therapy sessions and I can help you with: Anxiety: Waking up worried or something during the day triggering your worries which sometimes is vague and sometimes specific, A feeling of dread or impending calamity which sometimes is mild and sometimes almost unbearable, Thinking about future scenarios and almost always imagining the worst,
LG
I started working with Siamak during my 6 week stay at an addiction treatment centre in early 2022. His incisive, often irreverent, approach struck a chord with me and put me at ease (I'm not the sort of person who generally responds well to authority or clinical settings!). I was also drawn to his clarity and depth, and decided to continue my sessions with him when I returned home.
There is a strong sense of trust and safety, not only because he has experienced the extreme , but also because he is authentically himself in the room with you. You can be utterly honest with Siamak, knowing he'll be honest with you in return.
His ability to really see what it is I'm saying (or not saying!), and gently disrupt long-established patterns of thought and behaviour by helping me understand the underlying causes has made a significant positive impact on my life.
Working with Siamak has been a truly eye-opening and transformative experience. His unquestionable expertise in the field of addiction has been integral to my recovery. His help and support during those early days was invaluable, and coming up to one year sober now I'm grateful for the large part he has played in my journey.
Time spent talking with Siamak is always time well spent.

Your boundaries are your quest.
You must have shadow and light source both."

When people visit my site it is usually because they are going through a very difficult time in their lives and are feeling a real need to get the right kind of help and support. People seek help when their thoughts and feelings become difficult to manage, which can often result in feeling overwhelmed. You may be feeling confused about a situation or you may be struggling to make sense of things. Whatever the difficulty seems to be, Psychotherapy and Counselling provides a safe space that helps you make sense of what is happening in your life. Seeking therapeutic help can provide the support you need to overcome your difficulties so that you can move forward in living your life to its fullest. My approach is to provide a therapeutic experience that is specific to you, which means I may incorporate one or more modes of therapy depending on your needs. As your therapist I work in a supportive, confidential, non-judgmental and empathetic way assisting you to negotiate the therapeutic process, which I believe this is one of the most important criteria for undergoing any type of therapy. At the end of your therapy you can expect many positive life changes. You can expect a renewed perspective enabling you to feel more aware of your situation. You will also be in a position to make more informed choices and feel more in control. A reduction in the intensity of initial difficulties can be observed and you will also be in a position to utilise effective coping mechanisms. This invariably has a beneficial impact on your domestic, social and working life. I am based near Crystal Palace Park. I specialise in anxiety, depression and addiction. Please see my clients' reviews below.

I worked for 2 drug rehabs and a large London University. I wanted to continue developing as a therapist and currently studying for a Masters award, while I continue my research in Addiction and volunteering with a large charity.
