‘20 Certificate of Excellence

I hold a safe space for you to do your work with no judgement whether in person or online. I work to empower you, working respectfully and co-operatively to create a way that you are able to learn to love and accept yourself fully, feel confident in your own skin and find the joy and purpose that you seek in your life. I use a wide range of tools, working intuitively and in discussion with you to create a unique solution for you using what we decide together is the best way forward. I work with two things in mind; moving forward to create what you want and working with whatever is holding you back, keeping you stuck or causing you pain. As a holistic therapist and coach, I make sure that my work touches mind, body and spirit because without this, change cannot take place and you will spend lots of time and money going round in circles. My role is to firstly listen and find out where you are and what you need so I can be of best assistance, and know if I can help you. Secondly I offer my suggestions as to the best options that I think will suit you personally as everyone is different and I work very much with you as I don't think one size fits all. When you work with me, you get all of my skills and experience included to help you move forward into a better place. I believe that we are always learning and growing and it's an incredible privilege to hold the space to guide and support you in your journey to be your best and beautiful self. The tools I use include EFT, Parts & Shadow Work, Meditation, Mindfulness, Women's Cycle Work, Massage, Reiki, Conscious Creation, Visualisation, Visionboards, Reflexology, Posture Work, Movement/Dance, Relaxation, Coaching, Women's Circle Work, Stress Management, Relationship Dynamics, Voice Dialogue. I also run a Reiki School with my partner offering healing and teaching at all levels both online and in-person in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

What do you love most about your job?

I love working with women to help them to explore themselves and give them to space to stop. It feels like we should know who we are but we are brought up to follow the rules, to obey, to fit in and so we hide our true self and it doesn't feel safe or ok to show who we really are. My work is about giving you the space to find out who you really are, to help you tap into your inner wisdom, to look under the mask and deal with the bits of you you don't like to make you feel whole.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I wanted to create a way that I could share what I had learnt in my journey to exploring myself and providing the space that I wanted and couldn't find. I am fiercely passionate about our right to love and acceptance. Most illnesses and pain come from lack of self-worth. I want to show you how magnificent you are and show you all the power you truely have to let you know you can create what you want and have a life of joy and purpose.

Why should our clients choose you?

Because I hold a space that is fiercely held so you can show me who you are, all the bits you think you can't be loved for, the stuff you try to hide. I will show you that it's ok and in fact it's the way you heal, the way you learn to love yourself.
I am a holistic coach and therapist which means I engage and work with mind, body and spirit, I'll work with whichever of those feels right for you but the work will happen on every level otherwise it doesn't work.
The tools I have work and I am passionate and certain about them, people come to me that have tried other methods and it works, I work. It's not just a bunch of techniques, it's about someone who believes in you and holds the vision of you energetically so that you can create that, even when you can't see it. I will take you there. Even if you don't believe it's possible, I will show you. I believe in you and you matter.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes I use Zoom which is stable and secure. I can also offer by phone or email.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I have moved my work online. I am currently offering all services except those that require touch online.

Therapist FAQs

This will vary according to the level of experience and training that the therapist holds.

This will depend on where you live, what level of training your therapist has and what they specialise in (whether they are a counsellor, psychotherapist or psychologist) and also how many years of working experience they have.

Your professional therapist will be able to advise you on the full range of therapies available and will be able to help you select the best one to suit your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a trusted therapist today.

You need to devote some time to finding the right therapist as the connection you have with your therapist is essential. You need someone who you can trust, someone you feel comfortable talking to about difficult subjects and intimate secrets, someone who will be a partner in your recovery. Therapy will not be effective unless you have this bond, so take some time in the beginning to find the right person.

It is worth talking to a few potential therapists and asking questions. Therapists also have special areas of focus, such as depression or eating disorders. For some issues, such as trauma or PTSD, seeing a specialist is absolutely essential.

Everyone’s treatment is different. How long your therapy lasts depends on many factors.

You may be offered a single session of counselling, a short course of sessions over a few weeks or months or a longer course that lasts for several months or years.

It can take a number of sessions before you start to see progress but you should gradually start to feel better with the help and support of your trusted Bark therapist.

Professional counsellor training takes three to five years and can be a diploma or degree level. Qualification requires a minimum number of client hours acquired through a work placement.

You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their profile page on Bark and Bark can show you reviews from past customers who have used their therapy.

Therapy has repeatedly and consistently helped patients with a whole host of issues. It can help with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety or an eating disorder. Or it can help with an upsetting physical health condition such as infertility, a difficult life event such as a bereavement or a relationship breakdown. It can also be used to tackle difficult emotions such as low self-esteem, anger or sexual identity issues. Therapists also offer couples therapy. Therapists can also help with anxiety issues deriving from the coronavirus.

Absolutely! Many therapists offer sessions over the phone or through an online video chat platform, so you can have a session from the comfort of your own home - all you need is a strong internet connection and you're good to go.
