Hear from
a professional

What do you love most about your job?

I love the opportunity to connect and work with wonderful people, who perhaps do not quite believe that yet about themselves.

Watching clients (adults, teens and children) transform, lighten the weight on their shoulders, grow in confidence and in their own ability to make positive decision and choices, along with enjoying healthy and boundaried relationships is an absolute privilege.

Witnessing a client's surprise as a deeper knowledge and understanding of themselves unlocks and releases pain and fear attributed to anxiety, loss and sadness.... well it's a real honour to be a part of their process. I couldn't imagine doing or being anywhere else.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Having the autonomy to support clients in private practice in a way that is caring, gentle and on their terms, rather than on an agencies or an employers terms was really important to me.

The flexibility of a healthy work life balance was also a contributing factor.

I'm pleased so say that the business is growing from strength to strength through different counselling directories and word of mouth referrals.

Why should our clients choose you?

I've learnt that clients initially connect with a photo and then look at the information within the profile.

There's usually something in the photo that resinates. Effective change starts with the building of a strong working relationship and so, like I hope my photo portrays, I'm an open, kind and caring person, with much experience, training and a genuine passion for what I do.

Cost of sessions is set at a competitive rate and I do hold back a couple of reduced fee bookings for those that need them.

I take your confidentiality really seriously and I'm focused on building trust and really listening, so that you can feel comfortable in sharing your story as quickly as possible.

There is nothing I could hear that is likely to shock me and I come to the relationship with no judgement, agenda or ego.

This is one space where it can be all about you, to work out what you need to feel better and to look at ways of how to achieve that.

There is nothing to lose by reaching out and making contact with me to see if we may be a good fit to work together, so please do not hesitate to contact me when you feel ready and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best Wishes

Janine
