Mrs Lee Tutors Me

I am a fully qualified primary teacher. My teaching career started in 1997 and I taught in a number of East London schools before relocating to Kent in 2017. After moving to Kent, I worked as a supply teacher before starting my own tutoring business, Mrs Lee Tutors Me. I am fully DBS checked (Enhanced). Due to my extensive teaching experience I have a comprehensive understanding of how young children learn. I provide the children I tutor with lessons that meet their individual needs. As the children progress I enjoy watching them become confident and independent learners. If your child needs support with the understanding and development of their English skills, please get in touch.

What do you love most about your job?

I love teaching interactive and engaging lessons. It's really rewarding to see children learn and understand concepts, even within a 30 minute lesson.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Two reasons - Firstly, my love of teaching. Secondly, I want to be able to support children's learning so that, alongside developing their English skills, they grow in confidence too.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have a lot of experience of teaching young children and understand how they learn.
All lessons are tailored to suit the individual learning needs of every child.
My ability to work with parents has always been a strength. I have an open and approachable manner which ensures I quickly build good relationships with the children I tutor and their families.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes, I provide my services online/remotely. During each lesson the children I tutor access the lesson’s objectives in a range of ways. We always use interactive online resources and the children have the opportunity to take control of the screen, ensuring they are fully immersed in their learning. I also use a tablet to model writing and annotate work and a visualiser to reinforce skills with real books and resources.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

At the moment I only teach online to ensure the children I tutor and their families are safe from Covid-19.
