What do you love most about your job?

Building connections with wonderful people who seek growth and want to cultivate joy in their everyday lives. I love that I get to support people by keeping them accountable, and helping them overcome their biggest fears and challenges. (Bring it!)

What inspired you to start your own business?

Growin up, I felt unaccomplished and lost. I grew up as a PK (pastor’s kid), and wrestled with my own spirituality and beliefs. I had so many things I wanted to do, so ... I did a bit of everything! I studied art & photography for 6 years, picked up a celebrity news paparrazi gig, then explored marketing and sales, and then decided I wanted to be a teacher. Worked 10+ years in education, working my way up to becoming the school director — and then decided to drop everything the month I got a huge salary raise ... to pursue the ever-evolving world of social media, therapy & life coaching. Why? Because I felt a strong tug, and I believed I would love it so much. Honestly, nothing made sense at the time. It was the riskiest decision of my life. But nonetheless, the absolute BEST. I stand by it to this day.

I started my business because I decided, once and for all, that I had to quit playing small and stop giving into my fears/excuses. I’m passionate about helping individuals who, like I was, is seeking clarity, and to take back their lives so they can lead a fulfilling life. My promise to all my clients: you make sense, and you CAN make a difference.

Why should our clients choose you?

I believe that a good coach is one who invests into their self as well. I work with three different coaches: business, marketing, and personal life.
I’ve invested tens of thousands into my own growth and learning. Life coaching, anyone can do it. But people who work with me can be assured that they are getting access to someone who has studied under two of the world’s top leaders: Marisa Peer and Tony Robbins (founder of life coaching). I am board certified and am also certified in Rapid Transformational Hypnotherapy — which allows me to bring a wholesome approach to coaching using both therapeutic plus strategic interventions to create lasting results.

My clients are those who mutually see the value and importance of investing into doing the inner work, and love having that peer support from someone who sees them eye to eye. “YOUR SUCCESS IS MY SUCCESS”. If you’re someone who is 100% committed to being open-minded, open-hearted and fixed on a growth mindset, we’d make a dream team.

Your professional life coach will be able to advise you on the full range of coaching available and will be able to help you select the best one to suit your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a trusted life coach today.

You can have as many or as few life coaching sessions as you like. Many life coaches operate over the phone or via the internet so the sessions can easily fit around your schedule. Some people hire a life coach once every few months, some people have a session once a week.

Life coaching sessions will typically last up to an hour. Often after an initial assessment, sessions can be conducted over the phone, face to face, over email, via Skype/Zoom and occasionally through instant messaging.

During the session, your life coach will ask you a number of questions, such as what you want to achieve in life, what areas you're unhappy with and where you'd like to see yourself in the future. Although a life coach will work with you, it’s often up to you to challenge or reflect upon certain ideas you have to help you move forward with your life. You will never be forced to make any decisions you don't feel comfortable with and all sessions will be confidential.

Life coaching is focused on your present and your future. Coaching accepts your current reality and looks to improve your outcome moving forward. Life coaches are not health professionals and they do not diagnose you. By contrast, therapy focuses on your past and looks to delve into past actions and patterns. It is analytical but not action-oriented.

Most mainstream health insurance providers do not cover the costs of life coaching because it is not considered a mental health profession in the same way therapists and counsellors are.

Life coaches do not need to have any formal or academic qualifications but you may want to look for life coaches who possess an industry-specific qualification, such as the Life Coaching Diploma or Personal Performance Diploma (PPD).

You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their profile page on Bark, which shows you reviews from past customers who have used their life coaching services.

A life coach is a trained professional who aims to help and guide individuals to make, meet and exceed personal and professional goals. They support clients on a journey to rediscover their own strength and abilities. This can include excelling in the workplace, becoming happy and fulfilled at home, exploring your potential, managing health conditions and achieving life ambitions.

By harnessing techniques based on core psychological principles and intuition, life coaches empower clients and provide a toolkit of teachings to confidently face difficult challenges and overcome emotional barriers.

Life coaches can specialise in one of these particular areas of coaching: career coaching, executive business, group coaching, health and wellbeing, performance management, personal development, relationships, retirement, spiritual and youth coaching.

Rapport is one of the most important parts of life coaching. If you feel uncomfortable with your professional, you are unlikely to gain much from the session. It is advisable to get in contact before you book a session to meet your life coach so you can gauge how comfortable you are in their presence. It is worth talking to a few potential life coaches and ask questions.

Yes! As long as you have a strong internet connection, then your life coach can deliver sessions via an online video chat platform. Alternatively, it can be done over the phone.

The average price of a Life Coach is $75 per session
