Absolutely the best experience and facial I've experienced! I bought a groupon and scheduled an appointment with Rosie for a Saturday morning, she was very nice and informative and knows what is doing . I've previously had gotten facials but I never received as much knowledge and product recommendations as she gave me ! I have an up coming appointment in April and I can't wait ! Check her out ladies . She's on top of the nails salon and her space is neat, clean and relaxing

I just had my first deep tissue massage because I injured my neck last week. After the initial healing was over, I was still very tense and stiff.
Let me just tell you, almost immediately I felt the muscles in my neck and shoulders relax as the knots disappeared. I'm just sorry I waited this long.
I didn't want to go to a big place. This place is very private and the vibe is totally relaxed. Not to mention close by! The massage therapist is sweet, knowledgeable and understanding. I highly recommend Bravery Message.

This yelp ad says closed, but I last went to Dr. Comer in Nov. 2009. Located in the Academy House. He was thorough, fair in price (I didn't have insurance) and included a detailed, patient explanation of everything being done. Listened to everything I had to say. And offers the best of massage, adjustments, electrodes, heat therapy and rolling massage table. He walked me through options, gave me icy-hot samples and directed me to other things I could do on my own. Got me in at the last-minute same day appointment and called to follow-up to see how I was doing. It was the greatest all around medical experience.

His attention to detail was wonderful. He is very thorough in his craft. I had a particularly bad case of allergies and congestion one day which I sort of just mentioned offhand. Without suggesting it, he gave me a sinus massage and relieved at least 75% of the pressure in my head. I was so impressed. I realize getting massages can be pretty daunting and intimidating for some people, but he made me feel comfortable and I have revisited several times now. Thanks Matt!

I cannot say enough positive things about this place! From the staff to the one of a kind jewelry pieces..this place has it all! I had the spa mani and pedi...it was the best I ever had! They dont rush you in and out like other spas and they made me feel like a vip in there! I cant wait for my next treatment. If anyone is looking for a unique and special place to get pampered look no further!

About 3 years ago, someone recommended to me Relaxation Station in King of Prussia. I have a very bad neck and really needed relief. After my first visit there, I left feeling like I was walking on a cloud and had no pain at all in my neck and back. Later that evening, I noticed how incredibly relaxed and energized I was. I haven't felt that way in many years. The next morning while taking my dogs for a walk, I realized that I never once yesterday picked up a cigarette yesterday and didn't even give it a thought to even the following day. I haven't smoked since that first massage 3 years ago. I really do attribute my quitting smoking to that first accu-pressure massage. Absolutely incredible. I seel them once a month, every month since to make sure that I stay out of pain. I can't say enough great things about this place!!!

What types of massages does a Massage Therapist offer?
Swedish massage - This is a gentle type of full body massage that is ideal for people who have a lot of tension, are sensitive touch and are new to massage. It can help to release muscle knots and is a good choice if you want to fully relax during your treatment.
Hot stone massage - Hot stone massage is best for people who have muscle pain and tension or who simply want to relax. The massage therapist uses heated stones in lieu of or in addition to their hands.
Aromatherapy massage - Aromatherapy massages are best for people who want to have an emotional healing component to their massage. Aromatherapy massages combine soft, gentle pressure with the use of essential oils. Essential oils are diluted before being applied to the skin.
Deep tissue massage - Deep tissue massage uses more pressure than a Swedish massage. It is a good option if you have chronic muscle problems such as soreness, injury or imbalance.
Sports massage - Sports massage is a good option if you have a repetitive use injury to a muscle such as what you may get from playing a sport. It’s also a good option if you are prone to injuries because it can be used to help prevent sports injuries.
Trigger point massage - Trigger point massages are best suited for people who have injuries, chronic pain, a specific issue or condition. Sometimes areas of tightness in the muscle tissues, known as trigger points can cause pain in other parts of the body. By focusing on relieving trigger points, this type of massage can reduce pain.
Reflexology - Reflexology is a great option for people who are looking to relax or restore their natural energy levels. It is also a good option if you aren’t comfortable being touched on your entire body. Reflexology uses gentle to firm pressure on different pressure points of feet, hands or ears.
Shiatsu massage - Shiatsu massage is best for people who want to feel relaxed and relieve stress, pain and tension.
Thai massage - Thai massage is best for people who want a more active form of massage and want to reduce and relieve pain and stress.
Prenatal massage - Prenatal massage can be a safe way for women to get a massage during pregnancy. It can help reduce pregnancy body aches, reduce stress and ease muscle tension.
Couple’s massage - A couple’s massage is a massage that you do with your partner, friend or family member in the same room. Other treatments such as pedicures, facials, and body scrubs are sometimes offered as part of a package.
Chair massage - A chair massage is best for people who want a quick massage that focuses on your neck, shoulders and back. A chair massage can also be a way to introduce you to massage if you have never had one before. This type of massage uses light to medium pressure.
What should I consider before deciding on my massage therapist?
There are a number of factors that are worth considering before choosing your masseuse.
Choice – It is important to consider why you want a massage. Do you want to find relief from chronic pain or are you just looking for a way to relax? Deciding why you want to get a massage will help you narrow down your options and find the right massage therapist.
Comfort- Getting a massage is a great way to relax both physically and mentally. It is easier to take advantage of this benefit when you feel totally comfortable. That is why you should find a massage therapist that makes you feel comfortable and at ease.
Recommendations – You are likely to have at least one friend or family member that has visited a professional massage therapist and read their reviews on Bark.
You can be confident that any of the Bark local massage therapists listed will give you a relaxing and therapeutic massage.
How do I check the Massage Therapists’ credentials?
You could look for massage therapists with a Level 3 Diploma in Massage or Complementary Therapies. The Council for Soft Tissue Therapies (GCMT) is the governing body for massage therapy and recommends that all massage therapists have taken a full or part-time course.
Before you choose a massage therapist, you could read testimonials and read details of their services on their website.
You could also look at their profile page on Bark and read massage reviews from past customers too. This might also help you get some ideas for the type of massage you want to book.
