In 2001, his son, Kurt Fagan, joined the practice. As the business flourished, Ed and Kurt began to identify a problem in the accounting industry. Independent bookkeepers did not have the skill necessary to provide bookkeeping services that were up to par with the needs of those businesses. So, in 2015, the firm became two halves; on one side, a CPA firm seasoned with 47 years of tax experience. On the other, MyBetterBooks was formed to serve the simple but necessary bookkeeping needs of business clients everywhere. We are a family of entrepreneurs. There never was any other way for us. Whether our business was farming, trucking, software, or accounting, the Fagan name has always been synonymous with making our own path.

All of our services are done remotely. We have a physical location for drop off and pick up of materials, when necessary, but we optimize our work with clients by servicing all accounts online.
