I went to Amy for issues with my speaking voice. I've been trapped speaking from the back of my throat for years and constantly dealt with irritation, tightness, hoarseness, etc. I literally had discomfort from speaking for even 5-10 minutes and it was seriously affecting my sales career. My mom was a music teacher, Piano-Organ-Voice instructor plus she played 6 other instruments including Violin, Viola, Guitar, Ukulele, Accordion and a sweet Real wooden Autoharp that her uncle gave her when she was 10 yrs. old. To be her daughter was to be full of music going in and around me since before I was born...which is quite incredible that I knew no other way to live and be than to express the music within me in many different forms. I also discovered that I am an incredible story teller and Actor- so of course, that creativity was born out of the imagination and diligence I learned within the Arts.
Especially if you live in the Los Angeles area- I'm very accessible and flexible tutor/Piano instructor and if you're needing a great dedicated local space with reliable experienced reader- I'm here and easy to get to. If you live outside of Los Angeles- we can always tutor on zoom and I've worked with a few students during pandemic this way. I love in person but I know we can accomplish anything we set our minds to together.
Yes- providing the student has a dedicated work space with few distractions ready and adult help in sending me what's necessary to help them learn with correct materials.
We were all wearing masks when it's mandated for in person lessons. And now that restrictions have eased and vaccination rates are higher, I give option to work without masks for in person sessions.
