My name is Reinhold and I began to offer Thai Massage treatments in Manhattan in 2008. We have a very comfortable space and clients can rest assured that we take the current health precautions seriously. Ask about house calls if you are still not ready to go out, we are prepared to come to you. Kimberly and Thom are former students of mine but the three of us have formed a team.

This man is the real deal. Reinhold is a true professional and his work is excellent. I left the massage with my posture straighter, walking taller, and feeling recharged. I was able to see Reinhold through a KGBdeals offer, which made the massage affordable, but I would definitely go back and pay full price. I was surprised by the first review. Although his room is not the spa at Bergdorf's, it provided all the space that was needed, and I found him easy to talk to. I think he's great.

I have never had better quality massage elsewhere. Ms Hamilton is very tuned into the body and can sense where it needs most attention the foot reflexology portion is deep enough to feel the release of tension but she doesn’t hurt me. In fact I usually fall asleep at that point of the service. Also, I never feel sore or in pain the next day and can report that my sleep is the best for at least 3-4 nights after her treatment. I highly recommend her

I've been going to Hudson Healing Arts for about 6 months now and what an amazing decision it's been! Just stepping foot in the space they have is a stress-reliever, as there's a real noticeable sense of peace and beautiful plants. It's a great respite from the chaos of the city. I've had the pleasure of getting to know many of the practitioners and each is a true expert at what they do and complement each other wonderfully. My time here has shown me that self-care isn't a "luxury" or something to check off your to-do list-- it's soo necessary! The effects of stress relief on the body, mind and soul can't be overstated, and I always leave in a refreshed state of mind. I've also learned so much about myself that's helped me nourish my soul and find what feels good for me.I've been lucky enough to experience Bach flower remedies, Reiki, massage, aromatherapy, and a limpia, and each time I've left feeling SO grateful I found this place & took my wellness and happiness into my own hands-- because at Hudson Healing Arts, you're in very good ones ... :) Whether you're looking for stress relief (who isn't?), guidance, healing your relationship with yourself and others, or wherever you are on your personal journey, you'll be doing yourself a huge favor by going to Hudson Healing Arts.

Dr. Lou and staff are AMAZING and professional! I have been going to Dr. Lou for almost 2 years and my experience has been top notch. I never have to wait, Dr. Lou takes his time and is very knowledgeable. During each visit I also receive a massage, stretching session and I am always asked if I want to try any other equipment (electric stim, leg compression, etc.) and the best part is, Dr. Lou is always getting new gadgets and equipment for us clients to try. I always leave feeling relief in my muscles and back and no longer experience pain during my workouts and everyday activities. I HIGHLY recommend Kearny Wellness to anyone looking for a cutting-edge facility with a friendly and experienced staff!

It was a little hard to get a hold of them, but worth it nonetheless. Their little shop right on Jersey between Columbus and Newark, is cute and relaxing. I was having some acute pain around my shoulders and neck and Erin was fantastic in helping me! She focused on exactly the right spots and used a balance clinical and therapeutic techniques to relax my neck muscles.

What types of massages does a Massage Therapist offer?
Swedish massage - This is a gentle type of full body massage that is ideal for people who have a lot of tension, are sensitive touch and are new to massage. It can help to release muscle knots and is a good choice if you want to fully relax during your treatment.
Hot stone massage - Hot stone massage is best for people who have muscle pain and tension or who simply want to relax. The massage therapist uses heated stones in lieu of or in addition to their hands.
Aromatherapy massage - Aromatherapy massages are best for people who want to have an emotional healing component to their massage. Aromatherapy massages combine soft, gentle pressure with the use of essential oils. Essential oils are diluted before being applied to the skin.
Deep tissue massage - Deep tissue massage uses more pressure than a Swedish massage. It is a good option if you have chronic muscle problems such as soreness, injury or imbalance.
Sports massage - Sports massage is a good option if you have a repetitive use injury to a muscle such as what you may get from playing a sport. It’s also a good option if you are prone to injuries because it can be used to help prevent sports injuries.
Trigger point massage - Trigger point massages are best suited for people who have injuries, chronic pain, a specific issue or condition. Sometimes areas of tightness in the muscle tissues, known as trigger points can cause pain in other parts of the body. By focusing on relieving trigger points, this type of massage can reduce pain.
Reflexology - Reflexology is a great option for people who are looking to relax or restore their natural energy levels. It is also a good option if you aren’t comfortable being touched on your entire body. Reflexology uses gentle to firm pressure on different pressure points of feet, hands or ears.
Shiatsu massage - Shiatsu massage is best for people who want to feel relaxed and relieve stress, pain and tension.
Thai massage - Thai massage is best for people who want a more active form of massage and want to reduce and relieve pain and stress.
Prenatal massage - Prenatal massage can be a safe way for women to get a massage during pregnancy. It can help reduce pregnancy body aches, reduce stress and ease muscle tension.
Couple’s massage - A couple’s massage is a massage that you do with your partner, friend or family member in the same room. Other treatments such as pedicures, facials, and body scrubs are sometimes offered as part of a package.
Chair massage - A chair massage is best for people who want a quick massage that focuses on your neck, shoulders and back. A chair massage can also be a way to introduce you to massage if you have never had one before. This type of massage uses light to medium pressure.
What should I consider before deciding on my massage therapist?
There are a number of factors that are worth considering before choosing your masseuse.
Choice – It is important to consider why you want a massage. Do you want to find relief from chronic pain or are you just looking for a way to relax? Deciding why you want to get a massage will help you narrow down your options and find the right massage therapist.
Comfort- Getting a massage is a great way to relax both physically and mentally. It is easier to take advantage of this benefit when you feel totally comfortable. That is why you should find a massage therapist that makes you feel comfortable and at ease.
Recommendations – You are likely to have at least one friend or family member that has visited a professional massage therapist and read their reviews on Bark.
You can be confident that any of the Bark local massage therapists listed will give you a relaxing and therapeutic massage.
How do I check the Massage Therapists’ credentials?
You could look for massage therapists with a Level 3 Diploma in Massage or Complementary Therapies. The Council for Soft Tissue Therapies (GCMT) is the governing body for massage therapy and recommends that all massage therapists have taken a full or part-time course.
Before you choose a massage therapist, you could read testimonials and read details of their services on their website.
You could also look at their profile page on Bark and read massage reviews from past customers too. This might also help you get some ideas for the type of massage you want to book.
