What do you love most about your job?

I love working with women who feel stuck in a role that isn't aligned with who they really are deep down. I help them find their power and create a life they love.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I know what it’s like to feel like your world is falling apart.
Several years ago, my marriage ended suddenly. As I was reeling from the divorce, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away just two short months later. My roots were gone, losing these two important relationships in my life at once. During this extremely trying time, I was also shouldering the profound responsibility of being primary caregiver for my brother, who has special needs. As all of this devastation was happening around me, I found a small bit of beauty growing in the cracks of my life; new love with a new man. He ended up being my husband.
What saved me? My inner resilience.
Through Coaching I connected with my inner guidance and strength. I was able to use the inquiry tools I learned throughout my coach training to survive and thrive through tough life circumstances. Through a deep immersion into the inquiry process, I found amazing ways to reboot my life.
After my reboot, I discovered that my superpower is helping others get through their tough times. Whether you're starting over in a new career, redefining your identity after the kids leave the nest, trying to make your dreams a reality, or just want more fun in your life, I can help!

Why should our clients choose you?

I flourish by teaching my clients the same inquiry tools I used to revive myself. It is so rewarding to help other women grow through their hardships and reshape their lives.
Through my individual coaching sessions, workshops and groups, I offer my clients ways to relish their own beautifully flawed lives. Using a magical balance of gentle investigation and tough love, I meet my clients where they are as they take the cultivated risks necessary to refine their lives. I am a loving gardener, using my insights, skills, sparkle, and my own life experience to help clients – even in the most heartbreaking and complicated situations - flourish.

Your professional life coach will be able to advise you on the full range of coaching available and will be able to help you select the best one to suit your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a trusted life coach today.

You can have as many or as few life coaching sessions as you like. Many life coaches operate over the phone or via the internet so the sessions can easily fit around your schedule. Some people hire a life coach once every few months, some people have a session once a week.

Life coaching sessions will typically last up to an hour. Often after an initial assessment, sessions can be conducted over the phone, face to face, over email, via Skype/Zoom and occasionally through instant messaging.

During the session, your life coach will ask you a number of questions, such as what you want to achieve in life, what areas you're unhappy with and where you'd like to see yourself in the future. Although a life coach will work with you, it’s often up to you to challenge or reflect upon certain ideas you have to help you move forward with your life. You will never be forced to make any decisions you don't feel comfortable with and all sessions will be confidential.

Life coaching is focused on your present and your future. Coaching accepts your current reality and looks to improve your outcome moving forward. Life coaches are not health professionals and they do not diagnose you. By contrast, therapy focuses on your past and looks to delve into past actions and patterns. It is analytical but not action-oriented.

Most mainstream health insurance providers do not cover the costs of life coaching because it is not considered a mental health profession in the same way therapists and counsellors are.

Life coaches do not need to have any formal or academic qualifications but you may want to look for life coaches who possess an industry-specific qualification, such as the Life Coaching Diploma or Personal Performance Diploma (PPD).

You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their profile page on Bark, which shows you reviews from past customers who have used their life coaching services.

A life coach is a trained professional who aims to help and guide individuals to make, meet and exceed personal and professional goals. They support clients on a journey to rediscover their own strength and abilities. This can include excelling in the workplace, becoming happy and fulfilled at home, exploring your potential, managing health conditions and achieving life ambitions.

By harnessing techniques based on core psychological principles and intuition, life coaches empower clients and provide a toolkit of teachings to confidently face difficult challenges and overcome emotional barriers.

Life coaches can specialise in one of these particular areas of coaching: career coaching, executive business, group coaching, health and wellbeing, performance management, personal development, relationships, retirement, spiritual and youth coaching.

Rapport is one of the most important parts of life coaching. If you feel uncomfortable with your professional, you are unlikely to gain much from the session. It is advisable to get in contact before you book a session to meet your life coach so you can gauge how comfortable you are in their presence. It is worth talking to a few potential life coaches and ask questions.

Yes! As long as you have a strong internet connection, then your life coach can deliver sessions via an online video chat platform. Alternatively, it can be done over the phone.
