Registered dietitians are qualified to assess, diagnose and treat dietary problems or nutritional needs. They also tend to help clients with special dietary requirements or medical conditions. To be a dietitian, you’ve got to be registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC). Many dietitians work within the NHS as opposed to privately, although you can still find private dietitians to help advise you on your eating habits. Whereas nutritionists are more likely to be the ones advising on weight loss or sport nutrition. Nutritionists can be registered with the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists (UKVRN), but they don't have to be.
To become qualified as a nutritionist, I had to complete a course run by the UKVRN. After completing the course, I became qualified as a registered nutritionist. This means that all my clients can check my qualifications and experience online. Clients can therefore be confident in my abilities, as they know that I'm qualified under a trustworthy organisation.
Weight loss is the most common reason that new clients come to me. They often find it difficult to know how to get the right nutrients into their diets without feeling hungry or unsatisfied. But over the last few years, I’ve had more and more people coming to me with IBS-related issues. I think that's because more people are recognising the symptoms of IBS and are getting diagnosed. They then come to nutritionists or dietitians for guidance on how to alter their eating habits to help relieve their symptoms.

Although I’ve only started about two weeks, Andre has truly helped me get a great start to my journey to losing weight. He’s helped me with the way that I eat how my workouts ran and overall he’s a person that truly cares about his clients not his clients, but his people And wants the best for them

Aubree clearly knows what she is talking about - she has a solution for any nutrition bumps in the road I come across - and the solutions are curated specifically for ME which I LOVE!! I could tell she really wanted to see me succeed - the care & concern I feel from her is way more than others I have worked with in the past!

My wife and I have been going to RSC for over a year. We are in our early 70's and were looking for a gym that would work with us. Our trainers, Rob and Lauren, fit the bill! They are professional, friendly and thoughtful, yet demanding, and provide the right balance of strength and cardio exercises tailored for each of us. We are very pleased with our progress and look forward to the next year! There are closer gyms, but a slightly longer drive is well worth it. We highly recommend RSC!
