I have a strong Caribbean background as my father is from the islands. One thing to know about Caribbean people, is that they always ALWAYS bring the vibes and the energy is unmatched. As a Caribbean DJ, I am energetic, enthusiastic and ecstatic about my work!
My absolute favorite thing is seeing the crowd dance, vibe and enjoy my mixes! I love getting the crowd up on their feet. My goal is to make my customers wake up the next day with sore feet and a happy heart from the vibes that DJ Dr. Rico displayed!
Back in 2018, I began DJing family parties with minimal equipment (just my phone and a speaker). My absolute favorite thing, was seeing my friends and family dance, vibe and enjoy my mixes! In 2019, I started to get more serious about DJing by purchasing DJ equipment. This year, I have decided to make DJ Dr. Rico an actually business by getting a business license and starting an LLC!
Client's should choose me because of my client process, customer service and dedication to client satisfaction. I like to greet my new potential customer's with enthusiasm and professionalism that lets them know they would make a great choice choosing my services! I offer free phone/video consultations to discuss the needs, desires, plans and ideas that the client has for the event so I can work to bring it into fruition. After completion of the phone consultation and when a customer decides they want to work with me, I draft an official and legal contract to ensure things are carried out the right way to protect the client. After the contract has been signed by both parties (myself and the client) and the deposit has been received, the date for their event will officially be locked in. Customers will be provided my email and phone number so we can periodically touch base throughout the process of working together. I make it my goal to constantly follow up and check-in with my clients, to ensure quality of service is upheld and customer satisfaction is maintained at the highest level!
I can offer online/remote services. When client's begin services with me, I offer phone consultations to discuss how we can make their event the most memorable. Additionally, after they sign up with my services, we can have remote/virtually "touch bases" to ensure they are satisfied with the music I am selecting for their, the artists, the playlist, the order of the playlist, etc.
DJ Dr. Rico is following all CDC recommended guidelines including wearing mask and gloves, sanitizing work station & maintaining social distancing. This will help promote the safety and well-being of you and your guest.
