Tex Mex Grill and Bar profile image

Tex Mex Grill and Bar

A Northern Mexican influence with an Americana-based twist yields Tex-Mex staples like cheese enchiladas, Sizzling Fajitas, and Chimichangas, which can still be found in taquerías and food trucks in the Lone Star State and in restaurants all over the Houston area. Tex Mex Grill and Bar took these basic elements and developed a simple but delicious menu, along with great service and attentiveness. We look forward to creating a great experience that can be shared with friends and loved ones!

What’s your signature dish?

Beef and chicken charbroiled, over a bed of grilled veggies. Served with rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, pico, shredded cheese, lettuce, and your choice of tortillas.

How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?

We never try to "sell" our food. We instead try to match the needs of our customers with our area of expertise. We are proud and confident in our product, so we always satisfy the needs of our guests. Creating a menu goes beyond that. We also offer alternatives like vegan, vegetarian, keto etc.

What do you love most about your job?

Simply, because I just love food. I get great pleasure from eating and enjoy flavorful meals that enhance mood. Cooking meals is one way to bring joy into the lives of others. My job is to make someone’s life easier or happier or to treat diners to a delicious meal after a long day. Servant-hearted chefs enjoy the fact that they can make a difference. I love to help others to endure even the most pressure-packed event. I take care of the food so that my customers can focus on the rest of their party, and that’s my job.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Once I discovered that I could make a living doing what I love.

Why should our clients choose you?

I choose those that are a good match. I avoid putting myself and potential customers in a negative situation by promising something I cannot deliver.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Sanitation is priority #1. All the staff has a food handlers' certificate. We are well trained in temperature control, prevent cross-contamination, and we follow strict procedures. The staff will wear masks and gloves. We prefer to serve the food at out events to ensure minimal contact from kitchen to plate.

Your expert caterer will be able to advise you on the most suitable menus and service.

It is important to know the following before deciding on a catering company:

  • Event Specialists - Many caterers handle certain types of events on a regular basis, such as weddings and corporate events.

  • Different cuisines - Caterers might specialise in different kinds of cuisine. Some caterers may provide a fine dining experience while others excel at barbecues that suit company picnics.

  • Special requirements - If you have special requirements for the food or a specific menu in mind make sure your caterer is happy to meet those requirements.

  • Venue - Your gathering might be taking place at someone’s home, a venue or outdoors. It can be helpful if your caterer has worked at the venue before.

  • Tastings - Ask for a tasting to make sure the food is of a high standard. Most caterers will prepare one for you at no charge, allowing you to assess the quality of their cooking before you hire them.

You could look for caterers with a foundation degree, higher national diploma or degree in Professional Cookery and Culinary Arts.

Before you choose a caterer, you could read testimonials and see pictures of their food on their website.

You could also look at their profile page on Bark and read reviews from past customers, too.
