Distinctive Coaching for Business Success

Cook

I coach corporate leaders and small business owners to solve employee, business and professional growth problems such as lack of time, communication, confidence, relationship and employee challenges. They end up seeing better effectiveness and efficiency at work, more business or career growth, working fewer hours with less stress and anxiety, increasing their take-home pay and truly loving their work and working relationships. For CORPORATE LEADERS - Manager through Executive C-suite, we create the optimal goals, strategy and action-plan to improve in-person and in-writing communication, confidence, relationship skills and productivity for yourself and those you work with - employees, co-workers and supervisors - so work and relationships become less strenuous, more enjoyable and more personally and professionally rewarding for you. For example, one of my current clients from Bark is a senior manager in her company and wanted help to improve her confidence and communication both verbally and in emails and presentations. This helped her in relationships and co-worker engagements, email etiquette and relationship building so she is now more comfortable, efficient and effective with her time at work. She was also frustrated by Team meetings and email interactions, feeling too much time was being wasted with unnecessary and ineffective communication from co-workers, making her job a whole lot harder. We worked together to map out solving these focus areas in small chunks over three months. We coached her through the psychology of what other people need in communication, motivation and relationship growth, and applied those to her everyday work tasks and interactions. She reported back that in her recent meetings, she's felt no anxiety, awkwardness or stress while giving updates and presentations, and is more organized, prepared and confident interacting with her co-workers and stakeholders, producing better quality work, less stress and more enjoyment in her role. Fixing these areas reduces employee turnover, drives up revenue (usually doubles within 3 to 6 months from the date we started working together), increases your take-home pay and significantly reduces your stress and work hours. One recent client reduced his work load from 80 hours/week down to 2 hours/week (that's not a typo!), while his business continued to flourish - and we accomplished this in just one month. I've coached hundreds of corporate leaders and service business owners for the past 16 years to get the above results. Before that, I had the same results for myself, my teams and employees from entry-level to C-suite in the corporate world at Scudder Kemper Investments, Premiere Global Services and Microsoft, and as owner and partner running and growing multiple small businesses. What do you love most about your job?

What I love most about coaching others is seeing my clients using their natural skills to truly excel in their professional roles, improving the performance of themselves and those around them, and finally being able to have the freedom and rewards to enjoy their life outside of work - where life really matters most.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Taking my background in the corporate world in management and training positions and having been a partner in the small business world in a restaurant group, I've always held fast to the belief that in your professional life, you should focus on the intersection of what you love the most and what you're the best at.

I've also always believed that work should not consume your life; it should be there to support you in living the life that you really want, doing the things you want to do and being with the people who you love.

Going into business coaching was the way that I can both do the things that I love and that I'm best at, while helping others to do what they love and they are the best at.

In helping business owners in this way, there's a ripple effect where not only do my clients' lives and situations improve, but so do that of their families, and their employees, and of their employees' families… and so on.

In doing this, my clients and I are in a partnership to make countless lives better.

And that's what really matters.

Why should our clients choose you?

One thing I teach my clients is that it's very important to stand in their greatness, to respectfully and humbly toot their own horn, as it were :-)

So I have to take my own advice when questions like this come up, and I'm proud to do it because I've had some really great accomplishments in working with clients.

I think clients should choose to speak with me if they want the experience, guidance and resources from someone who was in the corporate world leading and creating teams and departments in global companies like Zurich Scudder Investments, Premiere Global Services and Microsoft as well as in the small business world running startups and facing all the challenges that come with that.

But just being in these positions isn't enough to say that someone can really help you. So additionally, I've been certified through multiple coaching programs and am also an certified emotional and energetic healer, tools which I use to help my clients break through internal subconscious limitations quickly and easily, so they can truly be the best versions of themselves and facilitate those around them to be the best versions of themselves.

And that last part is one of the reasons that my clients are able to make such huge jumps with their career and business effectiveness, business revenue growth, employees productivity and performance, and improvement in their lifestyles in such short spans of time, like my client Christina, who fixed her communication challenges and got her direct employees and outside vendors to finally understand how to best do their jobs, making her job so much easier; my client Nick, who tripled his business revenue in three months while enjoying more of his work; and my client Greg, who took his work week from 80 hours a week down to just two hours a week (that's not a typo) while his team took up the slack and continued to grow the business, in just one month.

And many other examples just like this.

I love seeing my clients make small tweaks to their thinking and skills that yield huge leaps in revenue, productivity, profits and overall happiness.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

My coaching is provided on the phone, online and over email/Internet, so scheduling and accessibility are easy. Most client engagements last one to three months with additional support if desired. I believe in making fast, sustainable changes that reduce overwhelm and make everything easier.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Since I've been working virtually with my clients for the past 15+ years, I haven't had to make any changes due to Covid-19, except to adapt our work to serve them even better in their changing work environments and professional and family dynamics.
