Hello, Bonjour! My name is Amadeus Furlong, 31, I am originally from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, but up until the Covid lockdown I had been living in Lyon for 4 and a half years. I am bilingual in French and English, having first studied French at the age of 11. I can offer interpreting services to France for all manners of things, whether you need to speak to French property companies, or if you have trouble with the French administration services and you need someone to act on your behalf. I also provide transcription services in both French and English. My clients include the Patrick Mouratoglou Tennis academy, and I have translated a wealth of legal, business and environmental content this year. I offer reasonable prices which are always fair, and I place top customer service at the heart of everything I do. I work largely remotely from my home town in Yorkshire at present, but I can come to your offices if need be as long as you will pay for reasonable travel costs. I love that the service I provide means that different human beings from different backgrounds are able to understand each other because I invested time in becoming fluent in another language. It came from when I was living in Lyon and I saw so many translations which didn't make sense in English. You could tell they had either been done by someone who used Google Translate, or someone who was a native French speaker who didn't fully understand the nuances of English. I define myself by the fact I'm a linguist, but apart from that, I'm a real fan of making sure that information is conveyed accurately. Think of me as a kind of linguistic journalist - I want to make sure the message is conveyed accurately, and that it makes sense in grammar terms to as many people as possible!
