Although Personal training and exercise prescription requires a scientific approach, thoroughly understanding client needs, goals and expectations is psychological.
Brilliant gym and trainer! Have been going to Di for personal training since May 17, have now taken up a 12 months fit friends contract. Loving the training, the flexibility and results I am seeing. I feel I am pushed to do the best I can and beyond! Love the advantage of a personal trainer with maximum of 4 people in any one session. Great idea Di!

I have 20 years of corporate experience in the automotive sector in process improvement, change management and coaching before becoming a full time psychotherapist and also have recent experience of volunteering for the Samaritans as a listener and mentor to other Samaritans. I currently work one day a week for a local charity providing counselling to female survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I started Positive Change in response to the increasing need for effective and efficient compassionate, solution-focused therapy. Most people find that the issues that they are experiencing are in the here-and-now, and whilst their history might inform how they respond to those challenges, focusing on the present and moving towards a better future is what makes the real change. I'm passionate about helping people to achieve as much change as possible in the shortest time, whilst recognising that for some, this might require a longer-term view - ultimately, it's all about helping you to achieve a more positive and fulfilling way of living as quickly as possible.
