My Learning Land provides a professional service to students who are in need of private tuition in Maths, English and exam preparation. Using industry recognised programmes and specific lesson planning designed to support the child, all supporting the National Curriculum, each child is given a personalised programme of tutoring by a qualified school teacher., the student is taught in a bespoke modern classroom OR if preferred in their own home.

Unlike many private tutors, my background is as a successful, fully-qualified teacher. With over twenty-five years of experience as a primary school teacher and senior leader, working either face-to-face or online, I will provide a bespoke service that fully meets the specific needs of your child. My specialism is in working with the full Key Stage 2 age range (Years 3 to 6, ages 7 to 11) but I am also very comfortable teaching younger secondary aged pupils (Years 7 and 8, ages 11 to 13).

I am an English teacher with 25 years of experience teaching adults and children. I have a Master in English and would like to practise speaking or grammar with you. I am a qualified teacher and experienced tutor offering online tutoring for children from 5-18 years. I have experience working with children with various needs including dyslexia and ASD. I am DBS checked and have up-to-date safeguarding and child protection training. My approach is very dependent on each student's needs, interests and skillset. When working with my younger students, I aim to make lessons as fun as possible in order to maintain their concentration for the lesson.
