I offer outdoor AND sessions at my gym. Some clients choose depending on the weather. I Believe fitness should be challenging and fun and full of variety turning into something you will enjoy for life. I will be with you every step of the way making your goals reality.

My name is Chris, I am a Female Weight Loss specialist, in particular those aged 25-50. The reason why I love doing this is I like to help people achieve amazing things in a short space of time but more importantly making that last forever, giving people more confidence, drop a dress size, jean size, tone up and feel better within themselves. Rather than give you a diet or generic exercise program i help you create your own diet, your way of doing things, your own exercise program based on your preferences, your likes and dislikes.

I came to Chris 10 months after having a baby. 6 months away from getting married and had put on alot of weight (size 10-12 to a size 14-16). in turn making me lose any body confidence i had and feeling at a real low. I explained what my goals were and Chris made me feel really confident that I could get to where I wanted to be. He explains well what each and every exercise is doing as you do it. And I started to see results quickly. He has such a kind approach and having once been incredibly intimidated and scared of the gym i now feel completely confident walking in by myself to do a quick session. 6 months later ive dropped down to my goal weight. I'm now on the smaller side of a size 10 and fitting in clothes i havnt fitted in for years. Thankyou so much chris! I definatly couldnt have done it without you
I have been working in the Health and Fitness Industry since leaving University in 2003. Since then my passion has always been to keep fit and help others with their fitness and motivation as well. All facets of fitness are important and compliment each other, so I take more of a holistic approach to health and fitness. Whether it be wanting to run a 5k or lose weight, all aspects of fitness improvement will be taken into account.

Simon is diligent, patient and certainly knows his stuff. He is able to vary the activities and exercises so there is a regular feeling of trying something new. His programmes are well put together and are suitable for all, even those who do not have lots of fitness equipment or access to a gym. I have no hesitation in recommending Simon and his company - a first class and very friendly service whether your goal is weight loss, body-building or general fitness,

As a Strength & Conditioning Coach, I will focus on movement and strength in our sessions. This will allow you to move better, which means less pain and more time spent doing the things you've wanted to do but previously couldn’t. How will you feel during and after sessions? I make sure that each session is different whilst still maintaining the same movement patterns in order to work towards your goal without getting bored of the same old routines you've done in the past.

I have known Sama for two and half years. Half way through that time I had to go through cancer therapy. Came out the other end in pain, two and half stone lighter, no energy and self- esteem rock bottom as all the fitness and gains made with him prior disappeared. Now I am looking and feeling better than before the therapy and ready to set some new goals. Amazing!Working with Sama promoted motivation, discipline and the passion to continuously improve. His knowledge whether technical, diet or lifestyle is tremendous and his standards are top class. It’s been a great experience and I am looking forward to the next stage. He is the very best!

I'm really sorry but there really isn't a magic pill any of us can take to get the body of our dreams. It's just hard work and patience. It doesn't happen overnight and it certainly doesn't happen if you don't put the effort in. Food plays a big part in the recipe for success - don't eat less eat more intelligently. Eat the foods you love and cut yourself some slack when you're having a bad day. As to the exercise - it is hard work but it should be fun too. Some cardio, some weights and good sleep.
I really am very lucky. I get to work with amazing people from all walks of life who all have a story to tell. There is no price on seeing the look on the face of a client who has achieved a goal they never thought they'd reach whether it's a fitness goal or a weight loss goal or getting in to those jeans that have always been uncomfortably tight!
Actually those big anonymous gyms full of lycra clad lovelies inspired me to start my own business. Getting fit shouldn't exclude anyone. Whether you're older than the average, or larger than a size zero, body conscious or not, fit or not. At the Fitcell everyone is welcome and made welcome. We don't make clients we make friends and family and hearing people say 'I never thought I'd say this but I've really missed coming to gym!' just inspires me to help more people get to their goal.
Honestly I'm not everyone's cup of tea. I call it as I see it - but always honest! If I think you're fat or lazy I'll tell you but I'll help you be neither of those things and when you look great and are working hard I tell you that too - even if you're not feeling it. I'm privileged to be able to say that my clients trust me 100% and I take that trust very seriously. Your well-being whilst you're with me is my responsibility and it's my responsibility to help you enjoy that time too.
Should I work out every day of the week?
It depends on your end goal. If you’re training for a marathon, you might work out nearly every day of the week. If you’re a low-level beginner, a minimum of three times a week is enough to make a noticeable impact. No matter what you’re working out for, everyone needs rest and recovery days. Without them, your muscles won’t be able to recuperate and grow strong, so remember to factor in some down-time, too!

Where can I have my personal training sessions?
Pretty much anywhere! The great thing about personal training is that it’s flexible - as long as you have the necessary equipment, you and your instructor can decide to have your sessions from the gym, your home, the park, or even your office if you want to!

Does my fitness instructor need to know anything about me?
Yes! First of all, they will chat with you about your goals, and discuss the best way to achieve them. They should also ask you to fill in a consent form to check that you don’t have any pre-existing health conditions that could impact your exercise. They’ll also carry out a health assessment to get a better idea of your current fitness level, tailoring your workout plan around that.

What does a standard personal training session involve?
It's tricky to say, as personal training sessions vary significantly depending on what you want to achieve and the type of workout. Generally, one personal training session tends to last forty-five minutes to one hour. It will start with a gentle warm-up, followed by the nitty-gritty of the actual workout, with stretches to end the session. Remember, warming up and stretching is essential for injury prevention - it’s just as important as the main part of the workout!

What qualifications should a personal trainer have?
A personal trainer needs to be clued up on all aspects of fitness, from the most effective exercise techniques to nutrition and human anatomy- that’s a lot of responsibility! You need to make sure your professional is suitably qualified for the job. After all, you shouldn’t cut corners when it comes to investing in your health. Make sure your trainer has the minimum qualifications required to practice. In the UK, this is the Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.

Can I get a Personal Trainer online?
Absolutely! Online personal training has become increasingly popular as more people are looking to maintain their fitness during lockdowns and gyms closing. As long as you and your personal trainer have a strong internet connection and a device to stream on like a laptop, tablet or smartphone, there's no reason why your session can't be delivered remotely.
