‘20 Certificate of Excellence

Hi, and welcome to my page. I am a Board Certified Coach for Life Coaching as well as being a qualified Personal Trainer. I focus on helping you overcome mental and physical blocks so that you can unleash your full potential. I have 3 years experience as a life coach helping clients make long lasting changes to their lives by utilising proven coaching techniques to help clients have better relationships, have the courage to start businesses, and have better day-to-day habits. I focus coaching on your mindset and your beliefs (positive and limiting), in order to facilitate positive outcomes. The aim of which is to get to the root cause of why you are in the certain situation and change the future for you. A lot of life's problems are down to meeting your 6 Basic Human Needs in either a positive or negative way as this can be an indication of why you have certain habits and behaviours, and together we look for positive habits that meet those needs. In addition, I am also a Personal Trainer, and have over 7 years combined knowledge of fitness and mindset to help you become a fitter and healthier individual. I am specialise in strength and conditioning and pre/post natal work. I can do 1-1 online sessions as well as create bespoke training workouts tailored to the space and equipment that you have and teach you training techniques that get you to your desired outcome quickly. When you know you need to make changes in your life, it is important that you have the right guidance in order to make sure that you achieve your goals, and I also believe that you should get to know your coach before you purchase. Therefore, I invite you to take advantage of a complimentary 30 minute Discovery Call so that we can talk and better understand your requirements. John

What do you love most about your job?

I love when a client gets a breakthrough or achieves an ambitious goal that marks a changing point in their life.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Even before I became self employed, I have always had a fascination to help others become happier and healthier, and I loved that I could give back to people and improve their lives.

I was in a job I disliked and took it upon myself to take the decision to leave a job that paid well to pursue a career that I still to this day have a passion to get up early or work late, and make a difference to other people.

With no experience of running a business, I have enjoyed the challenges and learnings that I have had in the past and use it to improve my coaching to enable you to become a healthier and happier individual.

Why should our clients choose you?

My specialties have come from my own life experiences in combination with the learning that those experiences gave me as well as the education that I have received to facilitate positive changes to the people that I coach. I believe that no matter the circumstances you are in you can make drastic changes to your life my taking consistent action.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I can offer online services via Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Skype.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

With Covid-19, all coaching has gone to online for the time being. Once it is safe to do 1-1 or 1 - many I will be able to offer this as well online coaching.

Your professional life coach will be able to advise you on the full range of coaching available and will be able to help you select the best one to suit your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a trusted life coach today.

You can have as many or as few life coaching sessions as you like. Many life coaches operate over the phone or via the internet so the sessions can easily fit around your schedule. Some people hire a life coach once every few months, some people have a session once a week.

Life coaching sessions will typically last up to an hour. Often after an initial assessment, sessions can be conducted over the phone, face to face, over email, via Skype/Zoom and occasionally through instant messaging.

During the session, your life coach will ask you a number of questions, such as what you want to achieve in life, what areas you're unhappy with and where you'd like to see yourself in the future. Although a life coach will work with you, it’s often up to you to challenge or reflect upon certain ideas you have to help you move forward with your life. You will never be forced to make any decisions you don't feel comfortable with and all sessions will be confidential.

Life coaching is focused on your present and your future. Coaching accepts your current reality and looks to improve your outcome moving forward. Life coaches are not health professionals and they do not diagnose you. By contrast, therapy focuses on your past and looks to delve into past actions and patterns. It is analytical but not action-oriented.

Most mainstream health insurance providers do not cover the costs of life coaching because it is not considered a mental health profession in the same way therapists and counsellors are.

Life coaches do not need to have any formal or academic qualifications but you may want to look for life coaches who possess an industry-specific qualification, such as the Life Coaching Diploma or Personal Performance Diploma (PPD).

You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their profile page on Bark, which shows you reviews from past customers who have used their life coaching services.

A life coach is a trained professional who aims to help and guide individuals to make, meet and exceed personal and professional goals. They support clients on a journey to rediscover their own strength and abilities. This can include excelling in the workplace, becoming happy and fulfilled at home, exploring your potential, managing health conditions and achieving life ambitions.

By harnessing techniques based on core psychological principles and intuition, life coaches empower clients and provide a toolkit of teachings to confidently face difficult challenges and overcome emotional barriers.

Life coaches can specialise in one of these particular areas of coaching: career coaching, executive business, group coaching, health and wellbeing, performance management, personal development, relationships, retirement, spiritual and youth coaching.

Rapport is one of the most important parts of life coaching. If you feel uncomfortable with your professional, you are unlikely to gain much from the session. It is advisable to get in contact before you book a session to meet your life coach so you can gauge how comfortable you are in their presence. It is worth talking to a few potential life coaches and ask questions.

Yes! As long as you have a strong internet connection, then your life coach can deliver sessions via an online video chat platform. Alternatively, it can be done over the phone.
