Before working with Liz, I was feeling completely lost. I felt very demotivated and unsatisfied with my job and career progression. As a result of this I was no longer feeling content with my life in general, I felt I didn’t have any hobbies or other joys outside of work. Liz helped me figure out, not only what career I would like to do but what my ideal life would be like.

I didn’t know what to expect from a career coach but Liz gave me so much. I found my confidence again and through her exercises I figured out the new career I wanted and what life balance I desired. Liz gave me so much to think about including; what does my ideal life look like, what are my core values, what are my favourite skills, my strengths and motivators. Through these exercises I really started to realise what the balance was I wanted in life and this really helped to figure out the career path that most suited to me. Liz challenged my way of thinking and made me realise I can have the career I want, and don’t need to chase or stick to career path I no longer enjoy. She reminded me that I can go after the careers I want and showed me how to acheive this.

The end of my journey with Liz was bittersweet, as obviously we had achieved the goal we aimed for which was for me to find ultimate contentment with life. However, I always looked forward to our sessions together and will always be grateful for the time we worked together.

After a couple of years finding my current job challenging on several levels, I contacted Liz to help me uncover what i wanted, needed and liked to have from a job, Liz provided a structured approach of how to get there.

Liz presented different exercises to uncover, recall and reaffirm my successes, my values, my motivators and how I have overcome various challenges throughout my life to date remembering the tools I learnt, honed and used to overcome.

Liz provided a supportive, trusting and confidential environment where I could be completely honest with what was going on with me both inside and outside work. Liz never judged, but would ask enquiring questions to challenge, change or check my perspective: this was helpful and effective.

Liz always gave me exercises to complete at home which would assist our next session, I took responsibility to complete this homework in a timely manner to enable each session to be as beneficial as possible.

During my time with Liz which saw me apply and interview for several vacancies, I have been offered a position in an alternative organisation for a more focussed role honing my skills, knowledge and experience for a more strategic position. I am excited for this new opportunity in which Liz was instrumental in enhancing my cv, application and interview techniques to secure the role and above all enabling me to ‘believe in myself’ with improved soul searching, patience and positive action.

Liz has a wealth of experience in career coaching and asked poignant questions throughout our time together to really make me think about what I want from a job in terms of the job itself, support available and career progression.
Liz has access to a varied and expansive pool of resources and would be able to offer several options for positive action in response to a query or perceived obstacle I faced.

Liz is a warm-hearted, well versed and welcoming individual who is a great listener always providing structured responses for clear thought provoking action.

Before working with Liz I was disillusioned with my job and having been unsuccessful with a couple of interviews, lacked the confidence, clarity and direction on how to change.

Firstly, Liz provided a safe, relaxed and confidential environment to talk through and discuss my experience, frustrations and fears.

Secondly, Liz is an expert listener with deft attention in asking questions which challenged my perspective to see situations from another view and/ or as opportunities to learn.

Thirdly, Liz gave insightful and structured suggestions which enabled me to uncover improved ways for cv, cover letter and competency writing whilst also undertaking constructive research.

Finally, Liz herself also carried out associated research and explorative actions to enhance the sessions and increase and impart her wealth of experience.
