Kate is a natural coach thanks to her warm, nurturing personality and sharp listening skills. She is skilled at drawing out your thoughts by asking the right questions at the right time. Crucially, she also has a way of challenging when needed without making you feel uncomfortable - I think this is what probably sets her apart the most, because it means your ideas are pushed forward that little bit more. I'm driven by a purpose, which is to leave people happier than when I found them.

As well as putting a smile on someone's face through an act of kindness or a simple joke, when we understand what 'happy' means to us, and we feel empowered to take control of our own lives, we make better decisions & better choices that ultimately mean we get to live our best life. And the ripple effects of that... well, they're something else! Helping others figure this stuff out or helping build a culture that embraces and encourages this is what brings me joy in my work.

I had worked in HR for over 20 years, for some great businesses. I'd learned a whole lot yet and driven by wanting to help as many individuals and businesses as I could, to see how things could be different, and ultimately so much better for them. This work has real meaning for me & I get to work with amazing people and organisations that are ready to Rebel.

Individuals - For me coaching is a trusted partnership that allows growth & learning through honest conversations, reflections, insights & observations. I work best with individuals that want to see change & are prepared to put in what they want to get out. My coaching style is described as down-to-earth, candid, challenging, intuitive curiosity, empathetic, warm & fun.

Organisations - I work with businesses who value their people and their culture and want to create truly great places to work. I help navigate, advocate and ultimately provide practical and meaningful interventions and support so Organisations can provide a positive and purposeful work experience for everyone.

Zoom, G-Meet, teams - I can provide all my services online or in person.

Services

My 1-2-1 coaching is Coachee-led, focusing on your agenda & what you need. We will work in partnership to help you identify and work towards achieving your goals.

My standard package is six 90-minute sessions & includes:
• 6 x 90 minute 1-2-1 online (zoom) coaching sessions
• in-depth pre-coaching questionnaire
• up to 4.5 hours of time for preparation & evaluation of each session
• recorded copy of each session & a written transcript

The programme will be shaped to your specific goals and needs, but we'll likely work to discover your values, beliefs, drivers & strengths and explore how these areas influence our decision-making & confidence and therefore impact our life.

This 6-month online group coaching programme is designed specifically for HR Leaders. Combining group and 1-2-1 coaching, this programme has been created to support a community of HR professionals who have overcome and achieved so much over a somewhat disruptive 18-24 month period.

The Programme covers:
We begin with a 45-minute session for ‘Introductions and Contracting’. This is followed by six sessions, each 2 ½ hours in duration, over 5 months, as follows:

● Session 1 – Creating a safe space
○ introducing your authentic self, reflecting on how you really are doing

● Session 2 – Time and space
○ creating time to think, using action learning sets to work on challenges and/or opportunities

● Session 3 – Values and Confidence
○ understanding work values to build confidence, influencing and decision-making skills, using action learning sets

● Session 4 – Strengths
○ identifying strengths to use through positive reflection and diverse thinking to learn from a past event, using action learning sets

● Session 5 – Beliefs and drivers
○ discover what could still be holding you back from being your best self through reflection and action learning sets

● Session 6 – Growth mindset, resilience, and identity
○ acknowledge your growth and clearly define the HR Leader you are. Finally, develop an action plan to continue growing in your role and as an individual.

What does it include?
o People & Culture Strategy: Developing people activities such as people strategies that imbed your culture through all business practices & ways of working, training & development, recognition (including pay, incentives & benefits) and practical & meaningful policies & processes development. Also looking at the design of the organisation and ensuring that the business is set up to deliver on the business’ purpose, mission, and goals. Includes development, facilitation, and mediation.

o Day to day: Advice to business leaders & line managers regarding all people aspects – from performance or behavioural issues, absent or sickness problems, disgruntled employees, formal disciplinary and grievance matters, team effectiveness & communication. Plus legal updates and support in how best to integrate changes to your organisation.
