Rana Rains Healing profile image

Rana Rains Healing

With 12 years of experience in the healing arts, Rana Rains believes that color, sound and frequency are the keys to activating true and lasting health. Her healing journey began in 2005 with a certification in Reiki Healing in Lebanon. Three years later, she advanced her craft in Dubai as a certified Theta Healer, where she learned the power of accessing the inner child to heal core traumas. In subsequent years, she found herself involved in a range of spiritually illuminating activities, from guiding meditations at the Osho Ashram in Pune to working with a shaman in the Peruvian Amazon. During this latter excursion, she learned to reconnect with the hidden magic of the natural world using the faculty of inner perception that lies dormant within all of us. From 2013 - 2016, Rana held regular weekly guided meditations both in group and one-on-one settings in Brussels. Additionally, she worked closely with autistic children to develop their meditational abilities and cultivate the focus required to overcome attention deficits. In 2018, she became certified as a Pranic Healer under the guidance of Master Ko. This allowed her to add another dimension to her foundational Reiki healing modality by specifically targeting the root of the problem. When Covid struck, Rana found the perfect opportunity to add the pièce de résistance to her healing arsenal: life coaching. Certified through the prestigious Animas Centre for Coaching, she authenticated a lifelong passion to help others identify and attain their personal or professional goals by becoming certified in Transformational Coaching.

What do you love most about your job?

I love helping people. In the healing process, not only do I experience the joy of helping others heal themselves, but I also heal and learn more about myself. In this way, healing is a very cathartic and symbiotic process and no one journey is the same.

What inspired you to start your own business?

As a person who has always been in search of energy and what it means, I set out on a quest to knowledge and soon discovered that it was truly my calling. With four certifications and counting, I am always learning and discovering new ways to put a definition to energy and the ways it can be applied to achieve true and lasting health.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am unique in the fact that there is no healing modality that I utilize that I have not already used and tested on myself. Therefore, I know better than anyone through practice and self-experience that this stuff really works.

Counselling FAQs

Expand all

Your expert Counsellor will be able to advise you on the full range of services available and will be able to advise on what is most suitable. Use Bark to get free quotes and schedule an appointment today.

At your appointment, you will be encouraged to talk about your feelings and emotions with a trained Counsellor who will listen and support you without judging or criticising.
The therapist can help you gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes and find your own solutions to problems. However, they will not usually give advice or tell you what to do. The Counsellor might sum up what they understand you have been saying so that they can help you to form a plan of action.

Counselling can take place in a number of ways. These include:

  • Face to face session

  • Group session

  • Phone session

  • Email session

  • Online through live chat services or video conferencing software

You may be offered a single session of Counselling, a short course of sessions over a few weeks or months or a longer course that lasts for several months or years.

It can take a number of sessions before you start to see progress but you should gradually start to feel better with the help and support of your Counsellor.

You can be confident that any of the Bark local Counsellors listed will give you a reliable and efficient service to help you feel better.

You could look for Counsellors that are accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) which means that they have met the PSA’s required professional standards to practise.

Before you choose a Counsellor, you could read testimonials and read details of the issues they can help with on their website.

You could also look at their profile page on Bark and check out reviews from past customers too.

Counselling can help with many issues. These include the following:

  • Mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety or eating disorders.

  • Physical health conditions such as infertility.

  • Difficult life events such as a bereavement, a relationship breakdown or work-related stress.

  • Dealing with difficult emotions such as low self-esteem or anger.

  • Sexual identity issues.

  • Divorce.

  • Redundancy and work issues.

  • Phobias and fears.

Absolutely! Many Counsellors provide their services remotely via an online video call or the telephone. Not only is it more convenient, but it's also the preferable option for many people who would feel more comfortable holding the session from the comfort of their own home.
