Couples, relationship and marriage counselling. My name is Ruta Gabalis, and I have been working with couples since 2017. I am a psychologist, and hold certifications in mediation, life coaching, and Nero-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Couples come to see me for a variety of issues; sometimes they can no longer communicate and understand each other, sometimes the trust is lost, or there is a lack of passion.

During the current social distancing phase of the Covid-19 crisis I am only offering online sessions. This is in line with guidance from UKCP. I am a fully qualified UKCP and BACP registered psychotherapist. I work with men, women and couples who are experiencing emotional and relational difficulties. I work with issues such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, OCD, bereavement, as well as relationship difficulties with individuals and couples.

I am a BACP accredited and registered counsellor with over 15 year of experience supporting people with emotional and psychological issues. I hold a specialism in working with clients affected by domestic and sexual violence including childhood trauma along with having extensive experience of assessing and supporting people from many backgrounds. I also provide relationship counselling.

I aim to provide you with a safe space within which you can talk about whats troubling you and causing upset in your life right now, no matter how big or how small. I am an experienced professional therapeutic Counsellor who has worked with many issues - anxiety,depression, relationships difficulties, loss, abuse, lack of confience, anger and irritability , the impact of illness and more.

The counselling service I have established is called, "A Ray of Hope" I have a Bachelor of Science degree in counselling and psychotherapy. I also have an advanced diploma in integrative counselling. I offer clients therapy using the humanistic approach. I have a great deal of experience in counselling and group work. I have worked within various professional organisations, including the NHS and The Priory Hospital, working with addiction and many other issues such as anxiety and depression.
