What do you love most about your job?

I love my job because Massage therapy is a satisfying career and to see also the improvement in a client over time, especially if he or she is recovering from a significant injury or dealing with a chronic condition, the ability to help others especially as I continually help them to improve their health and well being.

What inspired you to start your own business?

What inspired me to start my own business , is firstly I have the benefit of being my own boss, this means that i can choose when to work, and when to take time off, I personally love swimming and sometimes I swim 4 times a week and being in pain can sometimes impact on peoples jobs, relationship and their family life as well as their health mostly I will go to a spa and have a massage to help relief muscle tightness after swimming, the fact that I have to get in my car and drive home after a relaxing massage and the stress of driving gave me the inspiration to have my business as Opera Holistic Mobile Massage.

Why should our clients choose you?

Having dedicated my time to helping people from all walks of life, and volunteering in care homes, I make use of my massage skills to treat others. My priority on each session is for my client's specific needs, and being an expert at assessing everyone before delivering the most appropriate treatment.
I’m is also a member of the complementary therapist association.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Massage is a hands on treatment and clients have to be seen in person, our services cannot be provided remotely, but, Opera Holistic Mobile Massage is delighted to say that, Zoom video calling with clients has been very helpful, in these difficult times our clients are never on their own whiles therapist has been on one-on-one with individuals
Remotely, to help boost their physical and mental wellbeing and keep their spirits up during these difficult times.
we begin with a conversation with clients to determine their concern, such as tension, pain, stiffness, or stress. There after a therapist will then help you through self-massage techniques, relaxation and tension.

Swedish massage - This is a gentle type of full body massage that is ideal for people who have a lot of tension, are sensitive touch and are new to massage. It can help to release muscle knots and is a good choice if you want to fully relax during your treatment.

Hot stone massage - Hot stone massage is best for people who have muscle pain and tension or who simply want to relax. The massage therapist uses heated stones in lieu of or in addition to their hands.

Aromatherapy massage - Aromatherapy massages are best for people who want to have an emotional healing component to their massage. Aromatherapy massages combine soft, gentle pressure with the use of essential oils. Essential oils are diluted before being applied to the skin.

Deep tissue massage - Deep tissue massage uses more pressure than a Swedish massage. It is a good option if you have chronic muscle problems such as soreness, injury or imbalance.

Sports massage - Sports massage is a good option if you have a repetitive use injury to a muscle such as what you may get from playing a sport. It’s also a good option if you are prone to injuries because it can be used to help prevent sports injuries.

Trigger point massage - Trigger point massages are best suited for people who have injuries, chronic pain, a specific issue or condition. Sometimes areas of tightness in the muscle tissues, known as trigger points can cause pain in other parts of the body. By focusing on relieving trigger points, this type of massage can reduce pain.

Reflexology - Reflexology is a great option for people who are looking to relax or restore their natural energy levels. It is also a good option if you aren’t comfortable being touched on your entire body. Reflexology uses gentle to firm pressure on different pressure points of feet, hands or ears.

Shiatsu massage - Shiatsu massage is best for people who want to feel relaxed and relieve stress, pain and tension.

Thai massage - Thai massage is best for people who want a more active form of massage and want to reduce and relieve pain and stress.

Prenatal massage - Prenatal massage can be a safe way for women to get a massage during pregnancy. It can help reduce pregnancy body aches, reduce stress and ease muscle tension.

Couple’s massage - A couple’s massage is a massage that you do with your partner, friend or family member in the same room. Other treatments such as pedicures, facials, and body scrubs are sometimes offered as part of a package.

Chair massage - A chair massage is best for people who want a quick massage that focuses on your neck, shoulders and back. A chair massage can also be a way to introduce you to massage if you have never had one before. This type of massage uses light to medium pressure.

There are a number of factors that are worth considering before choosing your masseuse.

  • Choice – It is important to consider why you want a massage. Do you want to find relief from chronic pain or are you just looking for a way to relax? Deciding why you want to get a massage will help you narrow down your options and find the right massage therapist.

  • Comfort- Getting a massage is a great way to relax both physically and mentally. It is easier to take advantage of this benefit when you feel totally comfortable. That is why you should find a massage therapist that makes you feel comfortable and at ease.

  • Recommendations – You are likely to have at least one friend or family member that has visited a professional massage therapist and read their reviews on Bark.

You can be confident that any of the Bark local massage therapists listed will give you a relaxing and therapeutic massage.

You could look for massage therapists with a Level 3 Diploma in Massage or Complementary Therapies. The Council for Soft Tissue Therapies (GCMT) is the governing body for massage therapy and recommends that all massage therapists have taken a full or part-time course.

Before you choose a massage therapist, you could read testimonials and read details of their services on their website.

You could also look at their profile page on Bark and read massage reviews from past customers too. This might also help you get some ideas for the type of massage you want to book.
