I help people solve problems. I help people transform their lives. You have hopes and dreams that you're not living yet. That's where I come in, I'm a 'life' coach (mostly a health coach for business owning parents). I am a 'gap analyst'... (All coaches are...) I analyse the gap between where you want to be and where you are, help increase your awareness and sense of responsibility. I can help you solve your problems and get where you want to be much more effectively and faster than you'll be able to on your own. It sounds simple, and it is, but if it were easy, well, everyone would be living the life of their dreams in the best shape of their lives. I help transform your dreams into reality. I help you get crystal clear on your goals and craft actionable plans and then make it happen. So why hire a coach? The game of life is different to tennis... but top performers in both get coaching if they want to win. Do you want to be better at your life? Do you want to win? Who is relying on you? Who would benefit? Your kids? Your partner? Your clients? So why consider hiring me? Unlike many coaches, I trained to do this. I graduated from the Personal Performance Coaching Diploma program by the Coaching Academy, with distinction. That's a good place to start. Book a complementary vision session to start making your life better than ever! I offer 3-months, 6-months or yearly engagements following the vision session. These can be scheduled weekly or bi-weekly. Fewer sessions don’t work as a starting point. I only do ad hoc sessions for longer term clients, pay as you go doesn’t give you the commitment you need, though payment options are available. If you're a student, teacher, NHS worker or other key-worker, please do get in touch. I have a different key-worker rate. Spaces are limited and first come first serve. **Because of the nature of the Bark platform, I am selective about reaching out to pitch. As a result, I may not be the first to contact you. I also now only respond to people looking to actually hire as I'm interested in coaching people who want to be coached, who have dreams they want to turn into reality. If you are curious about coaching but not ready to hire yet, please look up the International Coaching Federation. That's basically what coaching should be about and it's a fantastic resource for coaching information. Look me up on LinkedIn to get a sense of what I'm like as a person and coach. If I do contact you, please respond. If you contact me directly, please understand that I may not be able to take your call or respond immediately. I have a family. I also have other clients. I do not accept interruptions to either family time or client time without prior agreement.

What do you love most about your job?

Transformations.

Helping clients get control of their monkey-minds and stop stressing!

Seeing clients get unstuck and become better at being themselves!

Seeing clients finally make the changes they'd been so desperately trying to make on their own.

Whether it's single parents finally getting the business of their dreams started or professionals increasing their business profit and scaling back on work hours to spend more time with family and friends, it's all about the massive sense of success and wellbeing my clients get.

I love it!

What inspired you to start your own business?

When I was teaching, I had some coaching. It completely transformed how I lived my life.

I wanted to be able to help others like that as well. I love teaching but the hours expand to fill as much time as I had and I thought it was time for a change.
I left full time teaching and trained to be a life-coach (Personal Performance Coach diploma at The Coaching Academy)
It just made sense to start my own business at that point.
Now I set my own hours and I'm still able to help hundreds of people!

Why should our clients choose you?

You want professionalism, but anyone can call themselves a life coach... how do you choose?

Start with someone who has a coaching qualification; a well trained coach who excels at their craft.
I recieved my Personal Performance Coaching Diploma in June of 2016 with distinction.

But getting trained only takes you so far...
You also want someone who grows and challenges themselves, as well as their clients.
You want someone with high emotional literacy to notice details in your thinking that others often miss.
You want someone who will listen; listen globally.
Someone who will challenge your thinking and inspire you to become the best you can be.
Someone who will hold you accountable to yourself.
Someone who has successfully used coaching in their own life.
You wouldn't see a dentist who doesn't believe in dentistry, who doesn't go to the dentist, would you?

I offer a vision session free of charge.

I offer a discount subscription option as well as one off sessions.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Coaching is an amazing methodology because it can be done with great effect remotely.

I get my own coaching remotely, sometimes on the phone, sometimes on Zoom or FaceTime.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I only work remotely. If you live in Bristol and want coaching in person, I can do walking sessions on the Downs or some other outside location.

Life Coaching FAQs

Your professional life coach will be able to advise you on the full range of coaching available and will be able to help you select the best one to suit your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a trusted life coach today.

You can have as many or as few life coaching sessions as you like. Many life coaches operate over the phone or via the internet so the sessions can easily fit around your schedule. Some people hire a life coach once every few months, some people have a session once a week.

Life coaching sessions will typically last up to an hour. Often after an initial assessment, sessions can be conducted over the phone, face to face, over email, via Skype/Zoom and occasionally through instant messaging.

During the session, your life coach will ask you a number of questions, such as what you want to achieve in life, what areas you're unhappy with and where you'd like to see yourself in the future. Although a life coach will work with you, it’s often up to you to challenge or reflect upon certain ideas you have to help you move forward with your life. You will never be forced to make any decisions you don't feel comfortable with and all sessions will be confidential.

Life coaching is focused on your present and your future. Coaching accepts your current reality and looks to improve your outcome moving forward. Life coaches are not health professionals and they do not diagnose you. By contrast, therapy focuses on your past and looks to delve into past actions and patterns. It is analytical but not action-oriented.

Most mainstream health insurance providers do not cover the costs of life coaching because it is not considered a mental health profession in the same way therapists and counsellors are.

Life coaches do not need to have any formal or academic qualifications but you may want to look for life coaches who possess an industry-specific qualification, such as the Life Coaching Diploma or Personal Performance Diploma (PPD).

You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their profile page on Bark, which shows you reviews from past customers who have used their life coaching services.

A life coach is a trained professional who aims to help and guide individuals to make, meet and exceed personal and professional goals. They support clients on a journey to rediscover their own strength and abilities. This can include excelling in the workplace, becoming happy and fulfilled at home, exploring your potential, managing health conditions and achieving life ambitions.

By harnessing techniques based on core psychological principles and intuition, life coaches empower clients and provide a toolkit of teachings to confidently face difficult challenges and overcome emotional barriers.

Life coaches can specialise in one of these particular areas of coaching: career coaching, executive business, group coaching, health and wellbeing, performance management, personal development, relationships, retirement, spiritual and youth coaching.

Rapport is one of the most important parts of life coaching. If you feel uncomfortable with your professional, you are unlikely to gain much from the session. It is advisable to get in contact before you book a session to meet your life coach so you can gauge how comfortable you are in their presence. It is worth talking to a few potential life coaches and ask questions.

Yes! As long as you have a strong internet connection, then your life coach can deliver sessions via an online video chat platform. Alternatively, it can be done over the phone.
