What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?

The secret is to feel the moment. You can own the latest, most expensive gear in the world if you can't connect with your project on a higher level. As soon as you feel it, everything falls into place and the magic of creation commences.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

My very first question, always, is: what's the reason you wanted to hire a professional? I need to know what the people are looking for in regards to their project so I can approach it in a way that satisfies their needs in that particular situation.

What do you love most about your job?

I love telling stories through my images. I take hundreds of them every week and each and every one of them has something to say. I rarely take pictures that don't have a message hidden somewhere underneath.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I always knew I have a gift for seeing things in a different way but never had the courage to start something with it. Eventually my girlfriend made me realize that I'm wasting my time with making money for other people and that I could grow myself by doing the thing I love doing the most in this World.

Why should our clients choose you?

I take every project, small or large, seriously and treat them as my own. I always make sure to leave my customers feeling that they have made the right choice of hiring me for the job. Also, my prices are close to unbeatable :)

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I can always do product shoots in my mini-studio if the client send the product(s) over and, if needed, I can always post them back. I also offer photo editing services when the clients have already got pictures they want to use but need a bit of edge by editing them.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I'm always up to date with the latest Government Guidance and wear protective gear (face covering, gloves etc.) if needed. I also carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer with me at all times and use it regularly when in contact with my customers.

The number of photos that your photographer will take will depend on the type and duration of the photoshoot you book. You won’t see most of the photos either. This is because your photographer will take duplicate photos in case anyone blinks or looks away. They’ll then delete any photos that don’t come out quite right before showing you the final selection. A one-hour family photoshoot will typically generate between 30 and 60 finished photos.

What you choose to wear for your photoshoot is a personal choice. It’s important to choose an outfit that you feel confident in, as this will help to put you at ease during your photoshoot. Try to avoid busy patterns as these may blur on photos. If you’re having a family photoshoot, it’s a good idea to co-ordinate your outfits to ensure that you don’t clash with each other.

There are a few things that you can do to prepare your children for a photo shoot. Firstly, tell them about the photo shoot and help them to get excited. This will give the best chance of capturing smiles on camera. It’s also a good idea to make sure that the photo shoot doesn’t conflict with nap times and that your children eat, drink and go to the toilet before the photoshoot begins.
