I think the secret to taking nice photos is to have good communication with the photographer and the person(s) in front of the lens. It is also essential to listen to the requests, but also to sometimes explain why it might be better to do things a bit differently.
I will first of all listen to the customers in order to understand their expectations, so I can adapt my service to their needs. I'll ask for specific details(about the theme of the session, the location, and the people photographed) so I can bring the appropriate equipment. On the day of the photo sessions, I always make sure that the customer(s) are in a good dynamic and are still in phase with the project.
What I love most in this job is the communication with my customers in order to give them the photos they want. The interaction during the shooting itself is the moment that I like the most.
After working in an art gallery in Canada a few years ago, I was able to discover my passion for photography. Starting my own business was a way for me to choose what I want to do: it allows me to have a close relationship with my customers, and produce photos I really like.
I'm confident that I can provide a high-quality service, as well as a customisable experience. I also have a wide range of equipment that allow me to shoot in various settings: indoor (for instance at your own home), outdoor, by day and night. I always try to improve and learn after each session, and I also love to embark in new projects.
The photo shoot itself cannot be note remotely (of course!), but communication regarding your project can be done beforehand online (via email, phone call or video call). Your final photos will be sent to you via WeTransfer (other options can also be discussed).
I work with a lens that puts a distance between the customer and myself (more than the distance recommended by the authorities). I can also work with a mask if the customer asks me to and I will wear one if it is required by the government.
