Darren Langston is the real deal. Incredibly experienced, knowledgeable and passionate about his Martial Arts, whether you are an expert or a complete beginner you will learn something from him. If you are near this academy and want to study martial arts ....... Then go and train with him !!!!

The thing that sticks with me is not just the dedication the Sensei’s have to their students but the welcoming atmosphere each time I visit a different Dojo. It’s why I continue to train with GKR and its why I chose to teach with them!

This building used to be Tipton Library before they moved it to a room above the shopping centre off Owen street. This Grade 2 listed building was a landmark in the area. The local muslim's wanted to turn it into a mosque and ruin it forever until it was saved by the trust and preserved

Rick Dubidat's BlackBelt Academy is an excellent Martial Arts center.What's makes it unique is that it caters for so many different arts, such as Kick Boxing, Thai boxing, MMA, JKD and they also do fitness classes. Therefore there is plenty opportunity for you to learn more than one art or you can just focus on just the one. And if you want to just focus on getting fit, the fitness classes are there for you.The instructors are very dedicated people, they are friendly but will also push you to get the best out of you. Attending Rick Dubidat's BlackBelt Academy will help you grow mentally, as there are times you will have to push yourself but when its all said and done, you will feel a great sense of achievement and sanctification when you complete a training session.

Great Gym, not only for BJJ but for Muay Thai and MMA, the head coach genuinely wants his students to improve and is not all about the money. Good classes for kids from 5+.

Went to the NAC with a mate to a totally sublime Paul Draper gig. This place is absolutely brilliant for this type of thing, easy to get to, great sound, nice staff and decent bar prices. Look forward to more of the same!

Having trained at a few different clubs. I have to say this is one of (if not the best) with 2 large matted areas ,boxing ring, cage, punch bags and offering instruction to both adults and children .it has all you need if your thinking about improving your fitness and gaining a new skill ..The staff and Instructors are friendly and patient and more than ready to help at anytime and this echos around the club even though its students .its not just the love of the martial arts that keeps me going back!..and just to top things off i have made some great friends..thanks guys
