Our job of caring for people is very rewarding as it offers us the opportunity to serve our passion to people in need by providing them with services for which without having our Support Workers they would find difficult to do for themselves. We also make a positive impact in the lives of those that we are privileged to serve.

In providing the much needed care to the volnurable, We are opportuned to better understand the lives and experiences of others and to offer person centred support to them especially when they are going through difficult times due to age or other causes. And it is always a joy to see our service users become more comfortable in their daily lives or get better.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I am very passionate about caring for people. Those around me have told me that I am a very caring person and having been a nurse for over 30 years, it was a natural transition for me to start a care service for people within their own homes.

Why should our clients choose you?

At P T Care UK, our service users are at the centre of the care we provide. This means that we offer care in a person-centred way and always go the extra mile to ensure that the needs of our service users are always given priority in everything we do. Home care is supportive care provided by a healthcare professional in the patient’s individual home. It is an alternative to community care settings like nursing homes or clinics. Home care is also referred to as in-home care or domiciliary care. Home care is provided for people who may struggle to look after themselves on their own, due to reasons such as old age, injury, or disability.

The cost for home care services depends on where you live and the frequency of care required. For a better idea of how much you'll pay based on your circumstances, read our handy price guide.

Palliative care is specialised care for people living with a serious illness. Support is focused around making sure the patient is as comfortable as possible by reducing pain and stress. While some patients receive palliative care at a nursing home or group accommodation, some people prefer to receive it from their own home so that they can be around familiar surroundings and memories. This is known as palliative care at home.
