What inspired you to start your own business?

The directors of Rubies have been Social workers for many years and have worked with people all their lives. The directors are originally from African and have been in the UK for over 20years and have benefitted so much from the local community over the years. The motivation behind forming the company was generally a desire to give back to the community that has shaped us into who we are over the years. We generally love people and derive pleasure in making a positive difference in people's lives by supporting them in any way possible to enjoy quality of life.

No all our services are provided face to face. We are a care care provider and we support a range of clients with a range of need and within a range of settings including supporting people in their own homes, clients in supported living provisions as well as people in care homes.

Rubies Limited aims to ensure that young people and adults are enabled to live in their settings with the help they need to be independent but that balanced with their safety
Rubies Limited acknowledges that some of the people being supported may lack capacity to understand and make decisions based on advice about the COVID-19 pandemic. Rubies Limited will ensure that all relevant steps are taken to communicate information with people in a way that they are most likely to be able to understand.
