What do you love most about your job?

At synchronised care we pride ourselves on the quality of care we provide but most of all ensuring the people who use are service are satisfied and enjoying the care and support we are delivering.

What inspired you to start your own business?

The director who founded synchronised care is a person centred councillor who prides herself on person centred care and wanted to make this available to not to the clients who use our company.I myself worked in the residential care sector for a number of years and then managed multiple services from residential to supported living , this was rewarding however i felt that more care was needed for those who wished to stay in their own home. I wanted to be a art of a team that could do this and make this happen whilst maintaining the quality and high standards of care that would be received in a residential service.

Why should our clients choose you?

At synchronised care we are person centred, not only with the clients but for everyone involved from family members to medical professionals, we believe that not one person is the same so bespoke packages are where we strive in our business. ensuring each individual is cared for in a way they want to be and taking there needs, wants and beliefs into account.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

We can provide services remotely and offer comfort and welfare calls if an individual requires these. however our expertise is in delivering person centred care face to face.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

During the current pandemic, it is vitally important that we continue to provide for those who rely on care in a strict, safe, and sensible manner.

Currently, the safest form of care is home care, which dramatically reduces the risk of infection from person to person transmission. Our specially trained staff can quarantine with the client inside of their home – away from large groups of people. When compared to the likes of a care home, with a high volume of people living, entering, and returning. This dramatically reduces the number of people that the client is exposed to – and for visiting care services, Synchronised Care have minimised the number of carers required to provide for each client to ensure human to human contact is at its lowest possible level.

Whilst we provide the care our clients desperately need; our care staff are using a range of PPE equipment to protect both themselves and their companions. The recommended PPE items to use whilst providing care are:
Disposable plastic gloves
Disposable plastic apron
Fluid resistant surgical mask
Eye Protection such as clear plastic goggles or a visor

Where PPE has been worn during a visit to a household, the PPE should be doubled bagged and dated. Government guidance recommends it is then left in the household for a total of 27 hours before being placed into general waste. We have strictly adhered to this process to ensure that all PPE is disposed of safely.
Synchronised care quickly responded to the developments of COVID-19 by minimising the number of care assistants that are necessary to provide for each client. This drastically decreases the number of care assistants that each client is exposed to, particularly for daily homecare services, massively reducing the potential of transmission.

We are closely monitoring those we are caring for to make sure that any potential symptoms are reported and acted upon. We can then take the necessary precautions to ensure any risks are diminished at source. The key symptoms to look out for are a high temperature and a new, continuous cough.
